Doesn't look very good, unless they release a few other hand buffing cards for Warlock. It is still quite slow though. If you are going for something like this, then why not use Omega Agent instead? Better stats, can be hand buffed as well and it just requires having reached 10 mana to get the two extra copies. And you can have two of these in the deck. Quite a pointless legendary, in my opinion.
Use it because I predict a really cool summoning animation
Bad card. Gadgetzan has shown that handbuff mechanics are weak and unreliable, especially if the targets are mid to late-game minions - you are forced to lose valuable tempo early on by playing weak cards hoping that they hit the correct minions in your hand.
Even when buffed this gets countered by common AOE like Hellfire/Flamestrike/Pyschic Scream/Vanish.
If you have the luck to land all the buffs in this minions, is worth. But now buffs are random or this card must be your left one. Warlock have some buffs but they are in board ones, so isn't so good.
Other way, fils your board with 1/1 for 8 mana in turn 8.
Interesting card, clearly Team 5 is pushing handbuff warlock now... Question is, how many buffs do you need to get on this to make it worth 8 mana? Even with just +1/+1 it would be 14/14 of stats for 8 mana, but your board would be extremely vulnerable to even weak board clears. At +2/+2 you're out of range of most clears so it starts to look more powerful, although still vulnerable to Hellfire, Hagatha the Witch, Reckless Flurry (assuming odd warrior hero power), Flamestrike etc.
If you compare this to Dragoncaller Alanna you can see that it's by no means certain to make an impact on the meta (since that never really did), although with enough support it could definitely be playable.

Dragoncaller Alanna is also your last ditch hail mary play. If you play it before you played pretty much most of your deck you've likely made a misplay. Being able to play this earlier and make an impact is a big plus for this. If you get one soul infusion on it (simplest handbuff to apply) than on turn 8 you can fill the board with 3/3's. For the turn it's big value, sure there are counters but it's still a strong play.
8 Mana for a vanilla minion board fill that requires investment from other cards? Never going to see play. Too many classes can deal with a big board like that with a single card
It's not even a demon!!! What are they thinking with this? Give warlock garbage legendaries because Warlock is already too strong.

Developed Hearthstone player, have played and beaten highly skilled opponents on numerous occasions. Not that ambitious on ladder. Only play off of win streaks. Love theory more than meta.

Kinda disappointing to see posts like this, sure the card isn't great but its wrong to expect OP cards over fun cards. I agree that its unreliable and weak but id rather have fun, inventive and synergising cards than blatantly op cards.
We'll have to see how much hand buffing is going on in Warlock. Hard to evaluate until then. If you can add effects (divine shield) something might be there.

Psychic Scream against this is brutal... for your opponent.

I like this card, Any handbuff is good as a single 8 drop in a control warlock, but I dont see this as a deck-defining card for now
Maybe during a Tavern Brawl where all minions are 1 mana 1 health 1 attack...
Nerf to spiteful. and random 8 drops.
And, no one remember blizzard said this expansion will he totally synegy based, so, ofcourse this will get more support cards, i'll try it if i get it
can't be played in warlock though
