Just consider Grimestreets in Gadgetzan, where only good Grimestreet Class conquered the meta by hitting faces instead of buffing hands, so my conclusion is no.
People apparently don't get that this *obviously* needs a buff. But even keleseth might already be kinda good, 8 mana 14/14? Add a soul infusion and this gets crazy.
I dont think it fits zoo, but maybe as a mini combo in another decktype.
Personally, I am more afraid of the theme in a sense that they didnt see heallock coming in developing and are pushing zoo further, even though it's been tier 1 for like 6 month now.
As of right now, I don't think this card is going to be great. There's simply better options right now to end games for a control deck. That being said, once the DKs rotate out, this card could potentially see play as a finisher. Right now however I do not have high hopes.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
If a card like Dragoncaller Alanna can see play and this card is basically just that but with more snowball potential and easier summoning conditions, then I bet this card will see play as well.
Even in the dream scenario where you've spent other resources buffing this a ton, a board full of big vanilla minions is not much of a win condition in constructed.

The difference is, Alanna is a card that rewards you simply for playing spells you would anyway. This card (at least with the hand buffs we know of right now) requires setup in the form of at least one other card to buff him in your hand, which is a dead play until you actually play him. Their power level is not even really comparable unless warlock gets some SERIOUS hand buff support....and we know how well that worked out for pally.....
You will have to work, to get it to 5/5 with two soul infusions. At that point it might be playable. If it ends up the far left card, and you dont die before turn 8. I still think its a bad card and will see fringe play at best.
Too slow for zoo. Not gonna be played in control. Only way this sees play is if they print an even handbuff card, in which case it could be a powerful board splash for an archetype that doesn't have many ways to go wide.

Right now, this card is bad. The only deck using buff is Zoolock, and you don't want a 8 mana minions in your deck.
Maybe if there are some special buff for this, but I'm not optimistic about that one.
Handbuff Warlock. Oh dear god...

Why does this bat have arms separate from its wings Blizzard please.
Forbidden Ritual is good to compare this to at later stages of the game.
This space is intentionally blank.

Occasionally gives helpful advice.
Seems too hard to set up, and at the end of the day it has no immediate effect on the board. Cards six mana or more better deal with the board.
Of course other cards may be printed to make it work, but right now seems bad.
Card to trolling shamans
ah, but can onyxia become a board of 12/12s?

8 mana 1 star card
What is this, a poor attempt to create a balanced iteration of Naga Sea Witch (in like, for 8 mana summon a board full of giants)?
Oh look! Another nerf to Evolve and Spiteful Summoner

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

I hate this card just because I like Astromancer and Spiteful Summoner priest (spiteful priest will probably drop free from amber)
Because Blizz likes their giant mutant bats.
But Alanna doesn't make you but shit cards in your deck to get the effect.
