This is a great early-game option for wild pirate warrior. This is gross with Ship's Cannon and Southsea Captain. If pirate warrior is good, this will see play for sure.
If Even Rogue can make an impact, so will this card. Even Rogue is actually not too inconceivable right now, just not a very powerful deck.
Outside of this option, I think the card won't have an impact. If N'Zoth's First Mate were still around, maybe, but otherwise, cheap weapons are not really worth a deck slot. And later in the game, the tempo gain from this card is not high enough. It is similar to Hench-Clan Thug, and this should not be ignored, though the Thug is a bigger threat, since it's harder to kill and fits in a strong deck.
Let's say you would only play this card if you can attack with a weapon on the same turn, and it's a 2 mana 2/2 with Battlecry: Summon a 1/1. The chance that your opponent lets you summon more tokens is relatively low. As that, it's slightly better than Murloc Tidehunter, but a pirate. Not bad, but really not that crazy either.
If the token were a 2/2, I'd say it is a good card, but like this, it's pretty mediocre.
Hard to say anything about this card without more reveals. Its power level will increase with pirate synergies, weapons with lots of attacks, and board fill synergies (such as Knife Juggler

I'm Nate and I enjoy writing. I got kicked off of my school newspaper so I figured I'd bring my passion to my favorite game.
This is an awkward card for rogues to use and they aren't the class that likes going wide. They have 2 mana 2\2 + 2\1 and it sees no play. This one is no much better. 2\2 is too easy to kill. It is similar to that 0\3 totem that gives 1\1 murlocs unconditionally every turn in a class that loves going wide.
It may be OK in even rogue, but even rogue is a fringe deck that needs much more support. Odd rogue can't play this by definition Tempo rogue. You do what? Play this on 2 hoping to go dagger 1 drop next turn? It will just get killed by other tempo decks and control can ignore it for few turns before wiping it together with all that tokens few turn later.
Deathrattle\miracle rogues have different game plansSome kind of pirate rogue? Well we haven't seen other pirates of the set. Maybe some deck of this type will emerge but I doubt that it'll be stronger than odd rogue.
2 mana 3/3 with even more potential with Candleshot. I like it.
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP

It's like A mini-patches.
Could add some playability to Even Rogue. Might even work in Druid or Hunter.
Old PIrate Warrior would have loved this.
I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Pretty good turn 6 play after turn 5 doomhammer. Play 2 of them for 4 mana and get 8/8 over 6 bodies. Then Bloodlust for the win
Then get defiled\hellfired\spreading plagued\deathstalkered\mossy horrored or simply killed
Rogue will be Tier S

I am already annoyed.

Even Rogue.
But also easily Even Druid.
One could also throw in Golakka Crawler for good old self-feeding.
And Druid too
This seems interesting in token druid, basically gives you the druid hp and paladin hp in one.
Even Rogue will be a thing. Just remember that.
Rogue turn 1 - coin and weapon, turn 2 - this
Another way to snowball for rogue
Low cost snowball card. Looks like Blizzard still hasn't learned...
Pirate decks really aren't a thing right now, but if Rogue gets Pirate support this expansion maybe we'll see a resurgence. Either way, decent.
Great in Even Rogue, meh otherwise.
Nice to see pirate,
