I have been running both Dire Mole& Crystallizerin my odd rogue deck having great success, but it has lead me to think: Is there any obvious advantage or disadvantage that either card has over the other?
I personally think Crystallizeris stronger, as reducing health in exchange for armour allows for healing. However, potentially late game this could become unplayable at 5 or below health.
it depends on the deck, as a rogue i don't see a difference since rogue can't abuse having some armor nor having a beast on board, so it's not a big difference really,
Crystallizer is stronger with Warrior, and Warlock because Warlock can benefit from having low health , since Crystallizer will replace health with armor leaving you with lower health.
Dire Mole is by far better with hunter for the beast tag synergy obvuiously.
The only class that can use both is Druid for his Beast Synergy ( Probably wild ) and Armor synergy.
You already answered your own thread. They are the same, especially since odd rogue doesn't even have healing. But crystallizer can't be played at low health, so it's probably slightly worse. Then again, at low health, you're losing whichever one you have in hand, unless you're trying to activate a cold blood for lethal.
In odd roge, there is the "odd" game where Blink Fox can steal a card giving you beast, heal or armor synergy. Crystallizer is probably sliiightly better.
