A nice alternative to the Unstable Ghoul as the go-to 2 mana taunt. I could see this being really deadly in a druid or paladin deck, with all the nice buff cards.

If you aren't playing Paladin, you're doing it wrong.
I think this will be rather weak, since it won't be able to kill things like the Ghoul and is even worse in Control MUs, plus less synergy. Still a fun card concept, though. Could work in Arena since they have to Fireblast/Dagger/etc before playing a 3/2 or you trade?
While annoy-o-tron may not seem like the best of cards, it's one like a mini-Sunwalker, and two, can stall opponents long enough for a minion to do what it can.
Point being, this card can be used in a lot of decks despite a lot of people not liking it's efficiency. It could be great in a control deck, as with an Illidan, it would mean a LOT of 2/1s by the time annoy-o-tron dies. Quite the stalling device.
I don't forsee this card going far. It seems terrible: it's a Goldshire Footman that costs one more mana and comes with Divine Shield, which is quite irrelevant for such a low attack minion(see Argent Squire). Moreover, early taunts are quite useless: you pay attack power for an ability that will absorb one hit and... that's all, oftenly even making you trade 0-1. To me it just seems quite inferior to Haunted Creeper and seems to suck for the same reason that Frostwolf Grunt and Argent Squire do, but the second one costs one less mana, which is a quite a big deal. Explosive Sheep and Recombobulator just seem to be a lot better as 2 drops.
2. Creeper gives you two cards to buff in Decks it is primarily used in like Zoo or is a beast for in Hunter, though Mech synergy may replace the Hunter bit for Annoy-o-Tron.
3. Creeper trades with two 3/2s or multiple enemy minions, not to mention do things like clear Damaged Golem trash, Annoy-o-Tron will generally be worse at this because it absolutely cannot have the Divine Shield popped for this, while Creeper can do it before or after Deathrattle.
4. Deathrattles are generally stickier than Divine Shields, for example Sludge Belcher vs. Sunwalker as an inexact comparison.
5. Creeper trades with 3 health as a base, if all goes well, Annoy-o-Tron trades with 2 health as a base if all goes well, barring a 1 health minion in each case (Which makes it 4/3 respectively).
It might see some use to protect vulnerable cards, but I think it is somewhat poor because of the fact it relieso n Divine Shield so much due to poor stats, so all the opponent needs to do is be able to pop a Divine Shield, such as with a Hero Power or Creeper. But I could end up wrong. :) Maybe in Mech Zoo it'll see play?
Exactly this. It isn't a Goldshire Footman - it absorbs TWO attacks, which is a big deal. The problem with Footman is that absorbing one attack late game means nothing, but two is a big deal. It has value at all times, as opposed to the Footman that usually doesn't do anything. Oh, and the robot trades with a 3/2...
Wait... Sen'jin Shieldmasta is already a good card, Goldshire Footman isn't: he is actually terrible. Sludge Belcher is a Sen'jin Shieldmasta with ''an extra life'', but Divine Shield isn't an extra life: saying this is the same as saying that a Sunwalker is a taunted Cairne Bloodhoof. Oh, and it doesn't trade with a 3/2: it trades in 2 turns or if you use a hero power. Oh, and if Annoy-o-Tron trades with 2, then Haunted Creeper trades with 3 and can't be pinged. Argent Squire is a Divine Shield-ed Wisp, theoretically trading for 2, but it is actually a quite bad card. Same should apply for our unfortunate robot.
PS: Cutting people's phrases by half can be quite deceptive: the ''and comes with Divine Shield part'' matters. People did use the argument of ''costs one more'', but what they didn't realise was that Sen'jin Shieldmasta was good, and one more mana for an extra hit absorbed can be quite good. This isn't our case: the main body isn't even capable of taking out a minion if not a Leper Gnome.

Sunwalker could be reworked as a 4/1 with "Taunt, Deathrattle: Summon a 4/5 with Taunt", and would be functionally identical, sans the Undertaker synergy
I can make a list of the ways that Thalnos is superior. Do I win?
No, I compare them because they are pretty similar in many aspects: mana cost, stats and the ''value'' aspect(quoted because it isn't true for our little bot). Bloodmage Thalnos and Ironbeak Owl serve different purposes and fit different deck styles, while the spider and the bot would fit in similar decks, as they were meant to play a similar role: absorbing lots of hits before dying.

.
It actually couldn't as it would be as vulnerable to Silence as Twilight Drake is, meaning it would be real garbage. But you are changing subject and making hypothsis that are as far from being real as Sacrificial Pact from being good. You didn't even use any argument in your favor.

That was the entire point of my post. Comparing Annoy-o-Tron to Haunted Creeper is like comparing it to Ironbeak Owl. Haunted Creeper fits into aggro strategies. The Deathrattle makes it survive board wipes, and trade favorably.
Annoy-o-Tron would be anti-aggro tech. It has Taunt, which is, in my book, just as "different" as Spell Damage +1.
Creeper is great because you can kamikaze it without losing board presence. If you're initiating trades with your Taunters, you likely aren't playing correctly.

I guess that early taunts had been proven to be bad, as they don't absorb many hits. The only scenario it MIGHT be good is in Aggro decks as a substitute for Voidwalker, case in which Haunted Creeper is already better(as explained). But ok: I don't want this discussion to go much longer. We have different points and I respect yours. We aren't about to get to an agreement as it seems.

I'm not sure what about my point you respect, as I'm not entirely sure that you understand my point, and that's likely my fault.
Yes, Haunted Creeper "absorbs" 3 hits I suppose, and Annoy-o-Tron only 2, but it's sort-of irrelevant, since it only takes 1 or 2 hits to kill my Undertaker, and Haunted Creeper absorbed absolutely none of that.
Perhaps Undertaker was a poor example, as the DR synergy still favors Creeper, but the point is, Annoy-o-Tron protects other key minions, Creeper only sustains it's own value.
I guess there are better taunts to protect your key minions, like Sludge Belcher and Sen'jin Shieldmasta. And I respect a lot people's opinion when we are based database to reach a conclusion. As we are both based on speculation, my opinion is as valuable as anyone else's, and I can understand your arguments.

Annoy-o-Tron, Discuss!
Well, it's definitely going to do what the name says.
Looks like there's going to be options for either a Deathrattle or a Mech rush deck.

please please please let this guy play a piercing alarm until he dies - like a much more effective Nozdormu!
While annoy-o-tron may not seem like the best of cards, it's one like a mini-Sunwalker, and two, can stall opponents long enough for a minion to do what it can.
Card 1:Alarm-o-Bot
Card 2: Mimiron's Head
Card 3: Hogger
Card(s) 4: Any card that has: At the start of your turn or at the end of your turn
Card 5: Illidan Stormrage
Card 6: Violet Teacher

On a quest to capture every zone in Azeroth into Hearthstone cards! Elwynn Forest, Redridge Mountains, Stranglethorn Vale and Northern Barrens!
I don't think many will disagree with me that Annoy-O-Tron is by far the best card spoiled so far...
It ain't flashy, but this game is all about value, and it has comparable value to Haunted Creeper. So, yeah, it goes in a lot of decks...

I seem to recall similar arguments about Sludge Belcher in relation to Sen'jin Shieldmasta
The reason this is worse than Haunted Creeper is:
1. No Deathrattle synergy

Why are people even comparing this to Haunted Creeper? Because they are both 2 drops?
Why are we not comparing this to Bloodmage Thalnos or Ironbeak Owl if that's the only criteria.
