A recently introduced mechanic was that minions now keep their buffs when shuffled into the deck..
From what I understand this is why if two instances of Dire Frenzy are played on the same minion, minions in the deck from the second Dire Frenzy now keep the initial +3/+3 and get the second +3/+3. Previously all copies in deck would've been base card +3/+3 no matter what the target minion stats.
My question is what cards are affected by this -will a Lab Recruiter for example result in 3 additional buffed copies in deck? What about Psychic Scream or a buffed up Dr. Morrigan ?
Edit: experiments proved me wrong on the Dire Frenzy theory. However I'd still love some suggestions on what this change allows.

Winning!? Nah dawg *Meme-ing!*!! (but also winning)
Huh? Is this true? When was this announced/implemented?
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
I did some experimentations in training and I was wrong - shuffle to deck still counts as backward play so the copies only get base cards +3/+3
I still want to know the implications of the new buff retaining rule thoug. It's still a bit confusing at the moment

Well, since Stitched Tracker now gives you buffed copies (unlike before the change ), i suppose the answer is yes. Not sure about scram tho
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Moving back in zones, removes buffs.
You're right on that.. That's the change that was brought. Here's the post that describes the changes: https://www.hearthpwn.com/news/5677-upcoming-hearthstone-rule-changes-copy-cards

Because Tracker moves a copy forwards, from deck to hand.
Moving copies backwards, instead, resets the buffs. Unless otherwise specified on the copying card itself.
Which is why Frenzy sticks the buff, while a generic shuffled Frenzied does not.
