I was originally regretting my decision to be standard only and disenchant pretty much 99% of my wild collection, but after seeing the problems caused by this one card alone I'm pretty glad that I committed to playing standard only even if it is basically dying out to better games within the next year or two.

Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
Plus I'm not obliged to include 2 cards that would ruin the game for me when I'm not playing against Druid or are far from my archetype .
The ego will dominate you with the 'and'. Example - I want to play my way and win at high ranks. We all make choices - you people act like you can't run the mirror.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Does anyone really think Blizz gives a crap about the one percenters, including streamers, who play at 5-L? They are too busy counting their money from casual gamers. If wild Legend is your aim, beat them or join them, or STFU. If fun is your aim, make a new account and have a blast running the gauntlet from 50. Being the best is a job, and jobs are no fun and no, no one is entitled to be Legend.
Yes they do ,hence the Naga nerf .Only thing stopping them is people like you complaining for the sake of complaining which makes the community seem split apart .
Wild legend is my aim ,beat them no can do ,join them no thanks ,not crafting a deck that might be nerfed and STFU absolutely not .You forgot to add the 4th choice : NERF them .
Bullying rank 50 players is not fun.
I can't reach Legend (with no fun) because of Juicy Psychemelon and I can't have fun (while not trying to reach Legend ) because of Juicy Psychemelon .
Not a single point in what you said ,still want a nerf .

Come on, it's not like the devs are going to leave wild as it is forever. I suspect a nerf coming soon™ and the format will become pleasant once again.
If you ask me, you made a HUGE mistake disenchanting most of your wild collection. The casual decks there are the best kinds and almost every person would enjoy playing various archtypes, if they had the chance as you did.
Again the deck in CAPABLE HANDS is broken and I'm rank 4 in wild and not 50 . Sample size of two of Quest Rogues defeating their worst matchup (some aggro deck) is actually pretty significant when the games are at rank 5-1. And it's not just those 2 matchups ,we face it in ladder as well with different archetypes (Even Shaman ,Big Priest ,Big Rogue ,Odd paladin ,Kingsbane..etc) ,if the SA Druid knew how to manage his resources then he can beat anything without disruption or heavy armor gain (and with disruption if he was lucky (chances in his favor 6/8 ) ) .
So again ,no point from your side of the argument .Only mockery and disregard of no better way these Even Shamans could've played .
For starters. Sample sizes of two are never statistically significant. They prove SAD beats Even Shaman more than 0% of the time, but we already knew that.
Looking at large sets of data shows that SAD is a good deck. But probably not the best in the current Wild Meta. I quote the most recent VS Wild report.
Juicy Psychmelon has indisputably warped the format around it (and around the Aviana-Kun combo Druids that run it), but the format does seem capable of suppressing its performance to a degree where it’s not out of control. There’s only one Psychmelon deck in Tier 1, and it isn’t the one that’s seeing the most play (and hype).
You claim the deck is broken. But you have no data to back that up.
I’m not in love with the deck itself. But if I do play Wild, SAD is exactly the kind of deck I’m looking to play. Because it is different. It has no counterpart in Standard. As opposed to Even Shaman, Odd Rogue, and Odd Paladin. If I’m bored of playing those decks in Standard (and I basically am), I don’t want to play them in Wild.
That is what Wild is for. Making crazy broken decks that can’t exist in Standard. And if you aren’t playing one of the crazy broken decks, you are playing garbage. Note the number of Tier 3 decks in above mentioned report.
There is no middle ground. It’s a fundamental problem with Wild.
JP is not killing Wild. It is simply a symptom of the real disease - Too Many Cards.
what? they play psychmelon, you play your rats and win the game, whats not to like?
Yeah we are not as lucky as you are to draw 1 of the 2 rats before T6 and if we drew one or two either they pull a useless card or you play them both but have 2 mana left only and can't destroy that Aviana or Kun and they bounce it back to their hands with a brewmaster .
Plus I'm not obliged to include 2 cards that would ruin the game for me when I'm not playing against Druid or are far from my archetype .
Where as I sort of agree with you if you want to play top end ranking you really should run tech cards. Druids are OP and hence super populated at those tiers so you would be doing yourself a disservice to not run the rats.
Playing this matchup as an even shaman the rats dont do anything. Its highly unlikely that you have them on spot and on top of that to hit sth good. The most important card is Devolve. If you have it, you most likely win (if you are able to apply pressure from the start), if you dont, you lose.
It s not that easy matchup for shaman as it is being said. Even if Druid has half of the combo by turn 6 or 7, shaman has no come back mechanic in front of a board full of 8 9 and 10 cost minions. In a perfect world where both players get the ideal cards for their mana I consider Druid favourite in this.

The best deck I've found to counter these guys is face mage with ice blocks. Bluffing the CS and explosive runes make them play awkwardly and the blocks give you more time after they combo off. Their insane armor gain can be annoying but I'm running a heavy burn build that usually gets the job done
Dirty rats just don't appear to be a very good answer. They're horrible in other matchups. Meanwhile, between the requirement of drawing them in time and hitting the right targets, running rats seem to only win you the game about 50% of the time, if not less. That's pretty lame for a tech card and cardslots are real tight in wild

Dirty Rat is a great card and x1 in some decks make a lot of sense, but every time someone answer a complain about this BS with "Play Rats and stop crying" sounds a terrible bad joke.
You literally already said the counter to your own argument. Winrates say otherwise. Star Aligner Druid is easy to hate on, but it's not oppressive. I'm glad you understand that
A combo/OTK deck instead stalling until get your combo pieces outrace aggro killing the opponent in freaking turn 6 is not opressive? We talking about the same deck?
Aggro can kill fast with good hands but is weak vs control after turn 5 or 6, this abomination kill faster like aggro and completely destroy control decks.
This deck is so opressive all midrange decks (except maybe Even Shaman if you consider that a midrange) disappear.
This is the most opressive deck in this game history, nothing else come closer to that.

Are you high? Do you remember undertaker Hunter? Mid-range shaman? Pirate Warrior? Gimme a break. It's not even the strongest druid deck at the moment.

All of those decks saw nerfs for being too consistently powerful. SAD has all the benefits of a combo deck with virtually none of the downside. Have to draw your whole deck usually? No worries, Druid has a ton of card draw and Psychmelon. OTK Combos are usually expensive/ No worries, have 10 mana on turn six or sooner. Dies to aggro? No worries, 4-mana gain 12 armor, 6-mana Spreading Plague.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
JP is not killing Wild. It is simply a symptom of the real disease - Too Many Cards.
This.
IMO, Blizzard made a big mistake nerfing Naga Sea Witch, Raza, and Patches because it gave people the impression that Wild is supposed to be a legitimate balanced format, instead of the receptical for old cards that it was created to be.
If it's not JP today, it will be something else tomorrow. It is inevitable that broken things will happen as the card pool expands.

Well Wild exists a while now but the examples of cards that make decks that oppresive are only 2. Naga and JP. Nothing else. So the argument is wrong. So it is not the card pool to blame but the terrible card design.

only casuals play wild...
Even if it cost 10 mana, it would still be broken. No tutor should draw your entire combo

You'd have to be retarded or completely oblivious to game balance if you supportJuicy Psychmelon

If it was nerfed, would it become a dehydrated psychemelon?
