Created a control taunt Warrior deck, and played ten games. All ten of them were against Zoo warlock and Rogue with heavy aggro. Please don't tell me that "they are popular", because whenever I play any of my other decks I get everything else. Hearthstone is definitely matching up control decks with aggro more than anything else, and it's starting to tick me off. Mix it up a little! Make it truly random. Not fun when I feel like matchups are scripted.
You matched vs decks you can easily win and complain?
Much worse was for me, played the entire last month and don't match vs even warlock, not once, get one warlock quest and try to do very quick then play zoo, what the &¨%*# matching system put in my way? Even warlock with x2 Pact!!! >.<

TEN whole games? I don't know man, I'd uninstall... On a serious note, it's the start of the new season, so you will mostly face aggro decks this early. If it gets frustrating, just take a short break. Games should be fun...
Is there any evidence that the system is anything more than a random match for your rank+stars with a similar opponent? Would it be so hard for Team 5 to state such and put the rumors to bed?

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I lost 90% of match-ups against Combo Druids and Exodia Mages (against which I have a 60-70% win-rate usually) because Dirty Rat and Demonic Project were in the last 10 cards of my deck. Either we're really fucking unlucky or the people who say the game is rigged are not wrong.

Statistically, a specific card will be in the bottom third of your deck 33% of the time. Two cards have a 16.5% chance of both showing up in the bottom third. And you said that you usually draw it anyway, right?

I'd assume you were just really fucking unlucky.
Probably man, I'm in rank 5 as soon as the season resets because I usually just go on a streak, but now I dropped to rank 9 lol, haven't been here in months

LULZ - you really should avoid mathematical discussions.

You don't have to mock a guy and non-constructively derail a thread over a 6.16% error.
Okay I'm going to ask you OP what I always ask everyone who thinks matchmaking is rigged or scripted.
What would be the point?
T5/Blizzard WANTS you to keep spending money on their product. If you keep having games 'rigged' you are more likely to become frustrated, and maybe even quit. Quitting does not earn Blizzard more money, they lose money. I'm pretty sure Blizzard knows that they want their customers to feel successful by helping them win. Rigging things against you does not accomplish this and would actually be counter intuitive from a business perspective.

Given the nature of the thread, there is no harm in “derailling” it.

They also add a key component called MMR and I also belive they tweak the matches to be more “interesting”. It’s not very unlikely that they give you “bad” matchups if your mmr is too good.... All of this can be done within the same rank / stars category. I have also frequently played against people who were at far higher rank then me on the ladder in prime time... I was rank 3 and faced oponent at rank 1 where I had a 14 win winstreak..

Very well said!
If I were Bliz, I would program bots that intentionally misplay occasionally, and secretly inject them into the ladder to give people good matchups. It would raise the global win rate to about 52% while shortening queue times.

"A bargain forged in blood and shadow"
Wait... So you're complaining about playing taunt warrior and getting matched with aggro... That's what the deck counters...

I like when I get matched up against the SAME EXACT PERSON three times in a row.... it happens often.

Wait what? You are complainin about running into 80% wr matchups. Am I reading this right?

Sorry, we don't allow "rigged" threads. Too many feelings, too much flaming and too small sample sizes. Locked.
