So I managed to get a golden Bolvar Fordragon as well as a golden Luna's Pocket Galaxy. Note I don't have regular versions of either of these. Should I disenchant one/both? Luna seems potentially really useful, but at the same time, Mage has no good minions, and it's basically a 7 mana do nothing on turn it's played (compare that to Barnabus the Stomper - yeah, quest reward, but even with that it's still a 5 mana 8/8). As for Bolvar, I don't think I've seen him played since he was released. What do you guys think?
Bolvar sucks, and it will never be solid enough to justify keeping. Luna is not really being played right now but the effect is way too good to not keep around, I can't guarantee that it'll ever see play but on a vacuum the effect is pretty strong so you should give it at least 1 or 2 more expansions before deciding if you want the dust... Meanwhile there are some ok OTK style pocket galaxy's decks running around, pretty fun to fool with them if you are on a rank floor and if you get decent with it you could definitely have an ok looking win-rate with it, I'm pretty sure.
Keep Luna's Samsung until you definitely stop opening Boomsday packs (keep in my mind you get them from Arena until next expansion), unless you REALLY need dust. After Boomsday is over, you can probably dust it, I can't see how it's gonna be playable (but only do this if you intend to spend the dust right away, no need for disenchanting a card just because you don't see the need right now).
Bolvar is a safe disenchant (if you want to spend some dust to craft something).
don't disenchant anything unless you extremely need to.
Lol sorry but i have to correct you. 1) Bolvar is GOLDEN. So it's 50% dust if it's used in a good deck. 2) Bolvar is NOT good, so it's 100% DUST because no decks had never played it... Neither meme decks
3) If he needs dust, and got a golden shitty legendary... it should just disenchant it

If a critical mass of good divine shield minions and synergy ever comes to be, Bolvar will be good. Granted, that may only come when Bolvar is in wild, but I play wild, so I'm keeping him. Also, divine shield paladin is a memey deck that can be built right now, and Bolvar is one of the best cards in the deck (blood kight is also mvp now). I would keep him for shits and giggles, the awesome art, and the wild potential, but if you need dust for a particular legendary right now, I could understanding you disnechanting him. After all, a golden legendary is equivelent to opening a non-golden legendary of your choice. It just so happens that I love golden cards, and if they're fun and potentially usable, I value them above a non-golden legendary of my choice.

Of course if you ARE using the card still don't disenchant it.
But if you are not then you can disenchant it for 1600 dust. Then later if you have to re-craft it only costs you the same 1600 dust, and in between you get to use a good card.
If it is not golden, then disenchant only with extreme caution.
Bolvar Fordragon sucks so if you don't really want to use him, then I think he's pretty safe.
That being said, when he works out he's absolutely hilarious. I ended up getting one in a pack when I first started playing and when TGT came along, made a midrange paladin with him. The few times I actually played him made it worth getting him in a pack, along with him having a sick animation. He's definitely not good, but he's really fun.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
Why? Disenchanting grants you a Legendary card of your choice, but if it's a good Golden card, why would you disenchant them? If managed to get a few viable Golden Legendaries, and I'll never disenchant them.
You answered your own question. As you can see by the rest of my post, the only ones I havent disenchanted are the viable ones. Bolvar certainly is not. Luna's probably is not, and if it is, it certainly won't be soon.
Galaxy is decent in some off-meta decks, Bolvar only works if you're a great deckbuilder like Dane. I'd keep both as I like messing around with decks in Wild, but if you need dust I'd say diss Bolvar.

Check out my Custom Undead Expansion!
...Or my Custom Elemental Expansion!
Bolvar's probably a safe disenchant. Galaxy could sill see play in the future, it's got more than a year in standard at least.
I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Bolvar fordragon is from gvg

LOL no, the another Bolvar

In my opinion: Never disenchant cards that could still get nerfed/find use in future decks. Therefore do not disenchant Standard legal cards.
Second: Never disenchant a golden legendary without playing it a few times in Casual mode :)
They are golden. They are one use tickets for a legendary of your choice. With a free trial of something until then.
Can't believe how many people hang onto golden legendaries.

Am I the only one here who crafted a golden Bolvar, Fireblood just because he has a sick animation?
Add me up if you're looking for someone to play friendly matches with! I play on EU. LuckyScrub#2745

IMO always disenchant all goldens. The only ones I didn't disenchant were Alex, Aya, and now Zilliax.
EDIT: And Zola, b/c a golden Zola strikes me as ironic.
You can't compare a quest reward card to any other card. The whole point of the quest rewards is to be super powerful at a medium-low cost.
That being said, just disenchant both of them and craft any 2 legendaries of your choice.
I say dust Luna because I really dig Paladin legendaries and dislike Mage in general. Or dust both.

Bolvar might suck but he has one of the coolest entrances.
