As a collector sometimes I try to build a deck around certain cards in wild in hopes that they are not entirely a waste of space. Some cards eventually see the light with new standard cards released (Aviana a wild druid staple now) but I am just wondering if people came up with ideas for the following:
Mage, Paladin, Rogue & Warrior: Straightforward cards that can be used to build a deck around them even if not entirely powerful or optimal.
Neutral: Prince Valanar (effect seems to weak to skip the 4 slot, if he gained like +2/+2 or something as well), Madam Goya
Before posting, this is not a nerf/buff thread or evaluating cards quality, it is to come up with a deck that has a purpose for the cards posted or others you can think off that are rotting in your collection, like for Moorabi its obvious you want a "freeze" shaman but what do you include.
And some cards I have not mentioned because they are straightforward even if they are bad, example Hemet Nesingwary you don't build a deck around him he is just there, and like The Boogeymonster.
Well, if I owned Princess Huhuran I would try her in Deathrattle Hunter: she is pretty much a huge Tempo play, considering the solid targets she has now. Possibly more importantly, Hunter has now a series of anti-Aggro cards that would make her an affordable play in midgame - still probably not worth the craft tho.
As for Moorabi, I played him with fair success in an Even/Freeze hybrid that abuses Cryostasis on cheap totems (and/or Primalfin Totem and Flametongue Totem). Granted, not as solid as Standard Even Shaman, and certainly not as powerful as Wild Even Shaman, but the Murloc package can snowball pretty hard, and it's not just a meme deck, since freeze is a powerful mechanic in a Tempo deck.
Moorabi has some nice synergy with Frozen Crusher, I remember trying it back in KFT and it worked surprisingly well.
Madam Goya could work in something like a big druid, she also has synergy with Brann Bronzebeard since he makes her battlecry pull two minions out of your deck.
I played Emeriss in some sort of hand buff hunter, but she's mainly good with Deathstalker Rexxar to make your zombeasts even more powerful (try going for combinations with cards like Stonetusk Boar and Dispatch Kodo for a lot of burst). Also has nice synergy with Dire Frenzy.
Hmm. It would have to be Professor Putricide and Dollmaater Dorian. I got Putricide from a pack and never really got around to making it work, even when cloaked huntess was around. Dollmaster was a cool card... that I could never make work. I just crafted him for the play animation, really.

Do you play wild? Wild secret hunter is really good, better than the standard version which is good as is, and putricide is a good inclusion in it.
for the short time i had my golden Splintergraft i made a quest druid for him.
if he is in the deck when the quest hits then you play a 0 mana say The Lich King, then put a 0 mana Splintergraft then play the 10 mana The Lich King. so then for 10 mana you got 26/26 in stats, and 2 deathlknight cards each turn.
and if he is in the deck then you still get a 0 mana minion then your 8 mana splintergraft. then next turn you play 0 minion and the 10 minion.

I had a Mage singles Deck (Reno, Kazakus, Solia) in which I desperately wanted Inkmaster Solia to be a good card. I was occasionally able to get a swing play out of her, (Solia + early Pyroblast) but she was hardly ever a win condition... she really only improved your position, and if you made it to turn 7, you were probably doing ok anyway.

Majordomo Executus may be uttilised in Reno builds of Mage and Priest as a low Tier 3 deck (Dane build some versions) Or in Quest Priest for that sweet 40 healt Ragnaros Hero xD. Other bad legendaries are indeed no build around onesa. I guess The Curator [/card] is kinda good but he finds 0 use in current meta. (Together with [card] Countess Ashmore )
Emeriss is very good when combo’d with cybertech chip of infest are my findings.
But then you are playing a type of control hunter for value and a very long game, which DK rexxar is already fine for. The problem is his cost is too high for a hunter, like their DK costs 6! I am trying to think of something that makes him the core or highlight of the deck.

I own huhran and used her back when sylv was a thing as a double combo swing, but as I said with terrorscale out there and playdead she is "dead"weight in the collection
I like the idea for moorabi, but why are you copying cheap totems? If you are playing freeze I guess its a control value deck and these cheap minions wont win against other high value control.

I didnt mention both as they are an ok cards that work as intended in their decks even if they are not optimal. Proffesor was used in standard a while ago before secret hunter was refined further more, and Dollmaster is good in quest deathrattle priest (check wowhobbs videos).
Good post, I'm curious to see what will come out of it :)
For the record, I've tried very hard with The Mistcaller and Madam Goya, but I've reached the conclusion that they're hopeless pieces of shcards.
Exactly my points, specially that shaman TWICE got the shaft with having a 4/4 legendary that is garbage tier. I mean freeze shaman is dead before it even started but as someone mentioned above I think a fun surprise deck is viable, but the Mistcaller lived in the days of the "epic" Mysterious Challenger and I cant find a reason to include it even in a fun deck, maybe as an "overkill" with Prince Keleseth and shudder
Herlad is not bad with deathrattle priest, maybe not worth the slot but if you trim your deathrattle you can have a stronger nzoth later on. Wilfred costs too much but is strong, maybe try him with even lock > 1 mana draw free card

Inkmaster is good with Kazakus potions, very big tempo swings but maybe not worth the deckslot in your 1 off decks.
You can play it in OTK decks with Stonetusk boar : Setup a Twig of the World Tree, last turn before you proc it => Splintergraft + Stonetusk Boar; next turn Ixlid, Fungal Lord + Faceless Manipulator on Ixlid, break the Twig, then play your 10 mana Boar getting copied 3 times : 40 damage combo. Sadly, it was way too slow for the ladder after the Witchwood release and too weak against weapon removals. It might be worth to give it another try with Dreampetal Florist though...

I have been playing Wilfred in Even Warlock for a while; he's pretty decent there. An obvious reason is that if you can tap for 1 mana, it's easier to summon Wilfred and immediately draw a card. A less obvious reason is that with Even Warlock, you often have big minions on board, so if you play Wilfred, the opponent might not be in a position to remove him, since they'll have to remove high-attack minions instead or risk dying. Wilfred then allows you to collect 0-cost cards in your hand that you can use to reload if your opponent manages to clear your board.

Hello,
As a collector sometimes I try to build a deck around certain cards in wild in hopes that they are not entirely a waste of space. Some cards eventually see the light with new standard cards released (Aviana a wild druid staple now) but I am just wondering if people came up with ideas for the following:
Druid: Duskfallen Aviana, Splintergraft
Hunter: Emeriss (Honourable mention Princess Huhuran -dead by Terrorscale Stalker)
Priest: Temporus
Shaman: Moorabi (Honourable mention The Mistcaller - dead by Prince Keleseth)
Warlock: Dr. Morrigan (Honourable mention Cho'gall -dead by Bloodbloom)

Look at it this way: she is actually too OP, since you can have three copies of her in a deck xaxa :)

I was really excited for Herald Volazj when he came out but couldn't make him work that well. Also Wilfred Fizzlebang.

Gormok the Impaler is a card that might work in Zoo.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Use chaingang with splintergraft.

There is actually Murloc Priest in Wild based around this card with Anyfin like OTK possbility. It is a meme deck though :D

Hobart, nobody remembers that card and spam wow when I play it
Skidaddle skidoodle your Milhouse manastorm is now a noodle
Wow lots of nice replies around here, I will take the time to address each

very true indeed it was used in standard zoo sometimes back in the days its not a trash card

Jarraxus is dead card in wild and will never come to life again. Sad but true.
