Obviously vancleef is a staple in almost any rogue deck, so normally no one would ever DE it. However, I only play druid. Is it a safe DE if I literally only play druid? There’s tons of cards I still need for my druid decks and DEing vancleef speeds up the process. What do you guys think?
It's probably not a good idea to ever DE a classic Class Legendary. Most of them are Staple in most decks.
Also, if you only play druid, DE'ing other legendaries decreases the changes of getting a good Legendary that goes well in druid deck like Malygos and etc...
It's a Classic, and it's just 400 dust. Basically an epic card. 1x. It can be a lot on the short term, but even in the mid term you realise it is just the dust value of 4 average card packs.
Rogue is also very fun to play, I wouldn't dismiss it so fast.
I am also still keeping Grommash Hellscream even tho I play Warrior exclusively for Daily quests. Similarly for Prophet Velen. and I am a F2P too: if anything, by keeping them I am optimising the chances to drop a legendary Classic I actually need (instead of having chances of dropping these again).
If you disenchant it you'll just unpack it again. I'd only consider disenchanting stuff from packs I planned on never opening again. And classic is a mainstay.
I know its easy to look at decks/classes in terms of 'mains' when your collection is low but you really shouldn't dust often as you'll gimp yourself hard later.
I've gone through this before- I dusted everything when I started so I could make Jade Druid, but eventually I got so sick of the class that I dusted all its Epics and Legendaries.
It didn't help much dust wise and I've pretty much deleted the class from my account for awhile, needless to say a bad trade- but I didn't care at the time cos I wanted Miracle Rogue or whatever.
You see, you can't really predict what new decks will come in future, or if you'll be interested in them. (sometimes I want to play a deck only because it counters a deck I hate for example).
Its hard starting off, but if you can quest/arena often enough you'll surprise yourself with your progress- I've been on/off HS as a F2P for years and though I don't have a great collection I still can craft/play what I want.
Not starting off xD although it may seem like it by asking a question like this. Rank 2 and have been playing since old gods. I have had a terrible past with DEing, DE’d decks for other decks, then DE’d that deck, and so on. Now my collection is ass, but I only play druid.
there's literally no reason to ever disenchant a staple classic legendary. Even if you need the dust you're better off looking for 4 epics you don't need and dust those instead.

It seems my story XD

i have been in your exact same position, (i mean literally, i am a druid main and i had van cleef). and i never regretted dusting him.
i know a lot of people say dont, and they are on to something. it is usually better to be patient (i of all people should know that with the DEing i have done). but i say it is worth it. druid has many good epics, and although he is good in rogue decks i have never needed him and i dont think you will either, rogue has a very different play style than druid, and even if you move from druid, it wont be to rogue.
i say dust it, then if you ever regret it than life lesson learned, and if you dont, then great! you made the right decision.

What you said; so no. If you evee change your mind about classes (like i did) you will definitialy regret it
This is my main concern, but I have mained druid for a long time and even if I switch classes it would not be to play rogue.

Is Legendary? Check.
Is classic? Check.
Is good? Check.
The card check all conditions for no dust, the answer is clear.
If you LITERALLY only play druid, then yes, every non-druid or non-neutral card is safe to disenchant.

uh, no.
Bad idea. I dont think mere 400 dust is worth it.

after the rotation of the frozen throne, druid would be the worst class so I doubt you would play it.

Never DE a good card in order to make a worse card.
God, no! What's wrong with you?!
I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

No don't do it. You could easily get the 400 dust even from opening a few packs. It's totally not worth it!
Golden heroes: Warlock, Druid, Mage, Hunter
Surely you have some other legendary to DE? It's one of the classic legendaries that hasn't lost its impact, so I would think twice about it.
There are people that only play one class? You’re missing out on 89% of the game. Keep the card, play some Rogue.
