I've noticed that when Zilliax is magnetized to the Goblin Bomb it does not heal 2 for 2 damage from deathrattle. Unfortunately I lost the replay and can't reproduce this because I don't have Zilliax in my collection. Does this happen every time, and if so, then why?

Zillax is dead first before the bomb kicks in

Did the minion died or you used cards like Play Dead, Terrorscale Stalker ?

Actually it should work because as far as i know Exploding Bloatbat will kill all minons if you give it poisonos. 

Minion died. If that matters, I got Explodinator and Zilliax from Omega Assembly, played Explodinator, next turn Zilliax into bomb and go face, next turn got that bomb mind-controlled and break it by Warpath.

Here I've got Kaboom Bot with Zilliax magnetized on it, and lifesteal from it's 4 dmg deathrattle did not happen.

It should work, cause you are magnetizing the lifesteal to it, zombeast with lifeteal and deahtrattle that deals damage also heals your hero, it migth be an interaction the blizzard missed, and if they want to be consistent probably will fix soon

It's a bug and not probably not the last one.  I really like the Magnetic mechanic, but the complexity is overwhelming.  Does Snipe go off when you magnetize into a mech? What about the 'kill the 4th minion' paladin secret?  Does it kill the newly merged mech?

Should I somehow report it to blizz, or they're reading hearthpwn and already know this?

 Magnetized minions don't count as minions for the secrets.

It is working as intended.

If you trigger the deathrattle through Play Dead, Terrorscale Stalker etc. then the bomb hitting face will heal you.

Also, minions with magnetic act as a spell buff (in terms of reactive cards that deal with minions), so if they are magnetized to another minion they won't trigger Snipe, Mirror Entity etc.

There are quite a few bugs this expansion but this is not one of them.

There are quite a few bugs this expansion but this is not one of them.

 buffs do work on deathrattles though, there is a puzzle that requires you to buff poisonous on an abomination . so zilliax should work as Op said it's clearly a bug.

magnetic minions don't trigger "play a minion" secrets cause they never hit the board it has nothing to do with the situation though(and it's not a bug)

 No, neither Exploding Runes

• Lifesteal provided by Zilliax now correctly applies to damage dealt by Deathrattle effects.

Seems like they fixed it.
