Let me start out by stating this isn't a question about the current meta. This is more a question of which cards you think will be viable even after the next expansion and then the rotation in April 2019.
Granted we still have an expansion yet to come this year. But what cards from the Boomsday Project do you think will stick around and see play?

5) Demonic Project - if there is combo, then there is this. If we get a better neutral tech, this will go.
6) Whizbang the Wonderful - and I'm not joking. Even if his decks never kick off on the ladder, the fact that he grants you access to lots of decks and casual experience just for 1600 dust makes him very attractive for a lot of players. If people want to have fun, they will certainly keep playing him.
Honorable mentions - Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, Mechanical Whelp, Supercollider. I could add more cards into my list (a lot of mechs actually), but it really depends on how the future sets will look like and how much they will support the previous decks. If there is lack of mechs/mech synergies, then some of the strong cards right now will fall off on popularity.
Do you also consider wild? If not, here are my picks:
I am a standard player now, so the question was originally targeted at standard. This is mainly because I am in the mid part of my second year. But I can see wild in my future. I have picked up 2 of the wild adventures and a handful of packs from all the expansions and I have not dusted rotated cards. The info is sure to be useful to me at some point and others right now so thanks.
Giggling unles it get the nerf hammer (probably will). Thenthe entire Druid's set that doesn't have the word treant on it, this sets just keepps Maly Druid alive after rotation, we jsut need to see if it can survive without plague and UI but the power level of every class should drop a bit so it's ok. Then maybe Zilliax, as long as blizz keeps printing ok mech then he'll see play. That's my top 3.
Dr. Boom. Even people who are down on him right now because "he isn't as good as the other Deathknights" need to realize that he will still be in standard when the other rotate out. Giggling Inventor is already being cut because the meta is reacting to it and being punished for running her. Likewise Demonic Project isn't as good either because the decks it punishes are drying up. Also I think the further we move forward the more prevalent DynoMatic will become. It's basically a better Vilespine in most cases.

I have a feeling, that this was a reference to my post. If you read it again, you will see that I didn't mean that this card will be used in every single control deck w/o exception. I only said, that if combo decks are prevalent and if there isn't a better answer for them, people will run Demonic Project. This is a tech after all and tech cards are only then useful, when the requirements are met. If this isn't the case, then of course no one will include it in their decks. I thought this was obvious, that's why I didn't write it.
Also I think the further we move forward the more prevalent Dyn-o-matic will become. It's basically a better Vilespine Slayer in most cases.
Everyone has the right to have their own opinion, but I would like to disagree with this statement. The mech can't be a better Vilespine Slayer since a) it only does 5 damage and b) the damage is split randomly among all non-mech minions. In some cases this might be a Vilespine, but the rogue epic is far better, because it can kill all sorts of minions regardless if they have a lot of health or a divine shield. If anything, Dyn-o-matic is a better Bomb Lobber that also has some synergies in control warrior (mech) decks.
