I wanted to make the community aware Blizzard has now officially nerfed a legendary card Ixlid, Fungal Lord in their latest patch without providing any refund for the card change. On top of that, any card they nerf like Shadowboxer, a full refund is now considered the cards regular disenchant value and not what is costs to actually craft the card.
Are you still willing to pay money for a game when they can change cards at will and provide almost little to no compensation for your loss? I was excited for the new expansion however, Blizzards merger with the greed of Activision is going to kill them game. Especially if this is the kind of business model the game is going to be run on going forward.
We already complained about Ixlid and ghostly charger and literally all the other cards that have lost a creature type because of flavor. What are you even trying to say about shadowboxer? the actual cost to craft the card is being fully refunded. You wouldn't have lost dust if you had made it. While I hate the merger between Activision and Blizzard since I think Activision is a cesspool of a company, this is all old news, why rehash it now?

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
Well, tbh it doesn't really feel like a nerf to Ixlid because there are no elemental druid decks, if something was made weaker by that is the fact that earthen might don't give you Ixlid (which it was unlikely to do).

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
On top of that, any card they nerf like Shadowboxer, a full refund is now considered the cards regular disenchant value and not what is costs to actually craft the card.
Shadowboxer IS being fully refunded. However, there was a bug resulting in some players not receiving a full refund. If that was the case for you, I'm sure you'll be compensated. Write Blizzard if not.
Oh, and I agree with Blizzard's definition of a Nerf, and don't consider Ixlid/Ghostly Charger to have been nerfed.
Please name me one instance where elemental tag for ixlid is actually relevant.
It has nothing to have to do with having it in your deck, but one time i got ixlid off servant of kalimos in a mage arena and it was amazing value. Other than cases like that the elemental tag has no real druid synergy.
I have been a huge blizzard fan since 1994 when I was in the 2nd grade and played the original Warcraft for the first time. Since then I have greatly enjoyed each and every title and universe of games over the years. With that said the Blizzard and Activision merger was indeed a travesty to the game community, and very few people besides the executives have seen actual benefit. Still I can’t help but wonder why this is even apart of your argument? The merger happened 11 years ago, before Hearthsfone even existed.... I get it they’re greedy SOBs. But hearthstone always will be an Activision Blizzard title.
Whether or not cards are used in current decks is irrelevant. The only relevant consideration is whether removing tribal tags constitutes a “nerf”. In my opinion it does - the cards are losing tribal synergies. Therefore, if Blizzard want to have a consistent dust refund policy, they should give dust refunds when removing tribal tags.

What? As far as i remember servant can only discover cards from player's class + neutrals ; how the hell you discover druid legendary while being mage?

If by very few people you mean everyone who believed in Blizzard enough to invest. That merger has made quite a few people who have never worked for either company very wealthy. And who knows if (insert Blizzard title here) would even exist as an ongoing IP today without it.
As to the OP, yes, I am still willing to pay money for this game. I'm always appreciative when they give full refunds (and VERY appreciative when they double refund the HoF), but that's a far cry from pretending they have a legal obligation to do so.

Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.

They removed the tribal tag because there was no synergy to be had. Good lord dude whine about something else, not this non-existent nerf.
OP, you have a point, but I think you missed the mark with the examples you gave.
I feel that pointing to the already discussed Tess nerf & reversal better illustrates at least part of the point about Blizzard's precedent for nerfed cards.
For example, Kripp made an excellent video after the 180 decision concerning Tess' nerf. While it is technically true that T5 may have partially made the choice to un-nerf Tess because it wasn't a competitive card and they faced backlash from players who liked the card, it was also just as believable that they made the decision because it didn't fit their business model to 'hand out' 1600 dust for free to many players who didn't play the card to begin with. Remember, they were originally not only going to nerf Tess, but also not provide a refund either. In order to stick to their model they essentially caved on the nerf issue and also managed to dodge having to give out any 1600 dust refunds at all.
^ That is what I think sets a better picture for T5's precedent for handling nerfed cards in the future (ie Gradually trying to lock dust refunds for cards behind only what they consider is worthy-enough of a change to the card in their mind).

First of all I made it clear the Blizzard merger did indeed make the already fortunate more fortunate including stock holders... Secondly, Blizzard did not need any sort of merger in 2007. You can say anything you want about any intellectual property not existing without a merger, but in 2007 World of Warcraft was already reaching it's peak subscribers at a cost of $15 a month... if anyone had anything to gain it was Activision, not Blizzard. Nice alternative facts Trump
OP, you’re a wonderful person with a lot of potential. Don’t waste that potential on meaningless threads like this one, you’re better than that. In a couple of years, you won’t even remember this thread, that’s how unimportant it is.
Why not use your effort for something that will matter in the future? I’m sure you can do it, I believe in you.

These "nerfs" don't impact a card's power much, if at all. So, that's why they aren't refunding them.
