CW have no problem with aggro how ever I have 100% winrate vs odd paladin 80% vs zoo and odd rogue atm. And Dr.Boom help with both aggro and control matchup.

The real problem is ladder is being infested with all kind of OTK decks atm, which Control deck like CW, Control Mage cant do sh**t because completely lack of tech cards like Dirty Rat. If you go Control route the only deck you can play is Controlock, which not the most exciting deck. This problem can not be address, because there are a lot of OTK decks so team5 cant nerf them all, and they cant add new tech cards until the next expansion. Too bad this could be a strong expansion for CW, but I think we have to wait for another 4 months

Definitely solid card. If control warrior becomes tier1, this card surely is an important contribution. It's just that right now there are far more super strong, insane value or combo card that absolutely wrecks slow control warriors. Even given card like Boomship as good finisher, it still isn't as strong as others.

TLDR: Dr Boom is strong and fair, but there are more gamebreaking cards/OP combo out there.

The immediate affect is really low at turn 7 as it does nothing just gives you 7 armor. I struggled playing Boom on turn 7.

But... Just don't play it on 7. I found it very useful to wait until turn 8 for a strong Boom + Shield Slam big body removal, or turn 9 with Boom + hero power.

Just because it's 7 mana, it doesn't mean you have to play it on turn 7
