Well kinda, it was never really around to begin with and I doubt this card is going to do anything to change that. You've got to play out two minions after this guy to make the stats start looking good.
handbuff pally, might be better in wild due to wild having more cards available to the archetype, don't think it'll be very good but still worth testing for funsies.

This might be fine. While it was never particularly strong, handbuff was always viable and this is one of the more powerful handbuff cards to be printed.
If you are playing it in Handbuff Paladin, it won't come down as a 3/4. More like 5/6 or 6/7. Definitely strong in the right deck.
Handbuff was bad because Paladin didn't have good draw, the only Lifesteal minion was a Legendary and the only Divine Shield + Charge was Argent Commander. It'll definitely be stronger with all the Lifesteal and Rush minions we got now.
The +1/+1 handbuff cards were garbage if you didn't draw them as early as possible because paladin just cannot draw cards well. This card has exactly the same problem, except you cannot play it until turn 6 so much worse. Crystology is a start, but aside from Acolyte and maybe Framebot or the 1/3 magnet the 1 attack minions are largely control cards
Potentially better in wild with all the Goon buff stuff. Maybe for a handbuff mech paladin? Of course it won't be good enough in ranked because it get smashed by any aggro deck.

Handbuff Paladin flashbacks.
Definitely a high power level card. Too slow?
Handbuff Paladin is back on the menu, boys!
Just kidding... it will see about as much play as the Grimy Goons cards.
I LOVE IT! HANDBUFF RETURNS! :D
Drygulch Jailor in even paladin?
There's also a lot of cheap 1/5 or 2/6 mechs. I mean, if you hit the new 2/6 mech with taunt and lifesteal...
Sure, I'll give handbuff another try.
It's not very good, but it's always fun.
It feels like this card missed Grimy Goons advertisement in Gadgetzan so it couldn't join... 2/2 buff is kinda huge. Maybe playable?

I think if there s going to be a value midrange paladin it is going to evolve around the legendary spell and this card doesn't help with that.
handbuff doesnt and will never work in paladin.
that 6 mana 5/5 that buffed all your dudes was pretty bad, unless the meta is super slow I doubt it'll see much play. Fun card though.
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
The effect is good but it won't see play, too slow.
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
Is there a reason why they're reprinting a failed mechanic?

Seems WAY too slow to do anything with. I don’t think you would play this as a 5/5.
