Fun idea but I feel like this requires the whole deck to be built around it. Let's assume you run some sort of secret paladin with maximum 2 mana spell like Equality, the question remains: What is your win condition? If you decide to hold on to the discounted minion and play it at a later stage, you have quite the tempo loss the turn you play this.
I do feel that someone more creative than me will find a home for this in a deck that might not be competitive but fun to play.
Think of it like Far Sight for one of the two cards, and the other card as being one on the bottom of your deck you may never have drawn. If it's >3 mana difference between the cards, it's pretty solid. And the other benefit beyond Far Sight is that you still have that other card if you have nothing else to play during a turn and want to drop the overpriced card.
Trying to decide if this card is good not, and now my brain hurts. Either you're going to do completely broken stuff with this and have an adapted Lich King on the board on turn 5, or it's too inconsistent and bad.
I'm excited because even a 4 mana, draw 2 isn't bad in paladin (who lacks any card draw besides Divine Favor), but I'm not creative enough to think of the best uses for it yet :(
Not enough survivability. You still have to make it to turn 10 to dump whatever 1 cost spell you made in to a 10 cost assuming you're going for the swap with Mechathun.

I think you can build a midrange/mech deck around this as well. You remove all spells that you would normally include for buffs except Dinosize. Rather, you include mechs and use the cards with "magnetize" to buff your mechs as the game progresses.
If you draw this card around turn 4, you are guaranteed to get Dinosize out for a reduced cost. You "lose" a minion that is now really expensive, but who cares?
Nothing crazy about it, but it offers the chance of an insane move mid-game.
Maybe also include Kangor's Endless Army, so you can also come back from a board clear. No other spells.
Just a thought... will try and put something together to show what I mean after all the cards are revealed.
Secrets big paladin going to be a thing now. There's also otk combo potential I'm sure.
Secrets Big Paladin?? That doesnt even make sense.
Also you need to add the 4 mana . So lets say you make your secret expensive and idk Tirion one mana you still payed 5 mana for that Tirion... And no bigdeck will outvalue current OTK or Combo/DK decks.
The reason why Evenlock for example works is because they can play a Giant on turn 3!(or 4). If you play a 4 mana draw 2 you would have to recover from the tompoloss. Ofc there is always the argument : this is not meant to be played on curve.. etc (but you would have to cut another card for this one..) : So if you play it lategame ,for example on turn 10,its rather unimpressive and you would have to play a deck that gets you to turn 10 in the first place .. Fattys and Secrets wont do the Job..

Everyone's looking for the perfect scenario but this card is consistently decent in almost every scenario
No Cost Difference: 4 mana draw 2. Not bad.
1-3 Cost difference: you get a discounted card and an overcosted card in case of emergencies, but there's no need to play it unless you have to.
4+ cost difference: as good as or better than Far Sight with the additional "cost" of bricking a card.
That feeling when paladin epic spells are more legendary than some class legendary spells...

I like this card. A lot of fun potential.
Really hard to rate this, but I like the idea to open some combo ideas to paladin!
seems like it will be good to get cheap Avenging Wrath, Dinosize, Spikeridged Steed etc. Also a very cheap Anyfin Can Happen for wild, not to mention cheap big minions too such as Lich King and Tirion Fordring. haha
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.

New achetype?
i'll def be trying this in my wild murloc deck. seems like a perfect fit there what with murlocs being cheap and anyfin costing ten.
It's only good if the effect of the spell benefits you.
Otherwise drawing 2 for 4 is just a bad arcane intellect.

My new OTK deck for this

"Recruit a giant. Your max hand size is reduced by 1."
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
geist doesn't care if it's reduced or not
turn 4 Prismatic Lens
turn 5 Prismatic Lens + Skulking Geist
turn 6 Mecha'thun Wild Pyromancer Equality

Maybe a Happy Ghoul and Dinosize combo somewhere in here...?
