This card is ridiculous. Elemental mage is very strong as is and with raven familiar and aluneth, midrange elemental zoo mage looks very probable.
Since when did midrange decks play do-nothing cards on turn 7? It is not playable in tempo either, they run too many low-cost minions of this to be remotely useful.

The effect is pretty crazy but hard to leverage the same turn you play it, making it low tempo. So at first glance it seems designed for combo set ups. The issue with combo set ups is potentially drawing your combo piece before getting to play this.
I think there is a world where this card is included as another way to enable your combo, so I think maybe it could just end up playable.
Effects like this are crazy enough that if someone finds a way, it could be completely broken. Also though, if the exodia doesn't end up being good and no one finds a way to break this, it could just suck.
I have hard time believing it will with an effect like that.
Though I wonder if it would be possible to make a tempo deck that looks to build a massive board presence after 7 while just maintaining prior to that? It'll be interesting to play with at any rate.
What will Archmage Arugal do when drawing a minion costing 1? Will the copy cost 1 as well?
New copy rules says that it will be but we will see it with our eyes. :)

Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
Want Exodia? You got it. Want Elementals? You got the synergy. Want meme decks with Mechathun? well, 1 mana cthun and your hero power makes it happen.
Congrats blizzard. We thought Druid was gonna be the most broken thing. Mage can now literally run anything short of 30 straight spells (and even that is probably doable)
Giant druid didnt work and I don't see this working either. Sure it's way easuer to use and doesn't restrict deck building as much, but 7 mana do nothing is reaaally painful. That being said. It could work pretty well with minion mage
I think people are overestimating this card, you have to cut spells if you want this to be drawn consistently, and that still isn't consistent because you could have drawn more combo pieces before turn 7. And having few spells in a mage that aims to survive a turn 7 without doing anything and without ice block is a big deal... So I think that this card is going to be better in a more minion based deck with aluneth, more than in an otk deck
A solitary copy of a spell in a 30 card deck that needs to be played as early as possible to see any benefit while causing a huge tempo loss? Doubtful. It's too inconsistent because you can't control what you have left in your deck. Different from Florist because you can Melon into your wincons. More like Quest Druid reward, which was never meta. Can't see it.
Even in a supposed "Big Mage" deck, would be just worse than Big Druid without the ramp, targeted draw, and also it's a 7 mana do nothing the turn it comes out. And you have to wait a few turns until you draw your minions.
Even in Quest/OTK Mage, blowing 7 mana to do nothing isn't something you can do anymore since Ice Block rotated. In OTK, if this doesn't hit your Antonidas, you're screwed. That means you get screwed automatically more than 50% of the time (since this can be either in front of or behind Antonidas so a 50% chance to be good/bad, but you're not guaranteed to be able to play the card straight away, which means you could get screwed even after drawing this card when you draw your Antonidas with this card in hand) - which automatically makes it not good as a deck premise.
Even with Aluneth, then you want to blow 13 mana doing nothing on the board? Way too risky. And Aluneth decks have traditionally utilized low cost cards because you needed to be able to dump your draws. If you load your deck with high cost stuff to take advantage of this spell then what about half of the time when you draw Aluneth before this card? You will end up with a clogged hand.
If you load your deck with low cost stuff why play this card?
Edit: It "might" have been playable if it was your hand only, then it would have very likely competed with Leyline Manipulator, although this deck would still be a really slow combo deck, but "your deck" just makes it super unreliable. At 7 mana it is WAYYY too expensive to use as any sort of tempo deck card imo.

There is a very rare chance that this sees play in a control-like mage with big minions/finishers where the actual value of the card would be spread across several big minions, but i'm not sure that mage would really like to have that many big drops.
As of now I'd say that this requires a specific combo and maybe be a bit too clunky. Especially with the hyperaggro decks still dominating the scene

There are 2 ways this card could go :
1- Broken combo
2- Unplayable

Okay, shoutout to FrlkY_00 on reddit/customhearthstone for nailing the exact name/art on the legendary spell for mages.
Trump reviewed it in his most recent custom card reviews but I cannot get a screenshot to work :(
Also, my Odd Elemental mage loves the actual card 👍
New copy rules says that it will be but we will see it with our eyes. :)

ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
Cool, another option for antonidas wombo combos...
There is still i think 1 rare and 2 common mage cards to be revealed to further push this spell
Ah yes, time for some Brann + Yogg fun in my casino mage.

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
It might be extreamly broken and i don't like broken cards...
But this card i LOVE a lot, it has unbeleaveble combo potential!

Probably overhyped. I don’t see this card breaking the game really. Probably a good card, but not meta defining. Will need to wait and see.
Wait, this isnt a druid card ...
Exactly, it's just Holy Cow! O_o
I'm a crazy-Russian-bear😀
Overhyped. I'd rate Bad to Dust it.
