They aren't just any 5 cards though. The majority of secrets in standard are ass and putting a bunch in your deck just to build around this guy seems like a bad idea. Every build around card in this game that has seen play has had game winning effects. Keleseth, Reno, Baku. I don't think this guy is worth it. You could argue MC, I could argue that it's totally different because this is a one of, and actually playing the secrets from hand as opposed to establishing a 6/6 body is just bad.
As long as it draws more than 1 card im happy. It is almost like an Coldlight Oracle that doesn't draw card for my opponent. Most minions that draws more than 1 card have bad stats or have conditions they have to meet or both. starving buzzard,Coldlight Oracle, cult master, Fight promoter, natpagle, acolyte of pain, forest guide, mana tide totem, northshire cleric, jeeves, Harison jones and an few more that i forgot about. The one that sees the most play that i can think about is elven minstrel. Harison jones have 1 more attack for 5 mana and your opponents doesnt always even have weapons.
Ancient of lore was an 7 mana 5/5 that drew 2 but it was nerfed.
Honestly i think people think its bad because you cant get the full 5 card draw reliable or the deck need to be weakens to get to draw all 5. anything above 1 is good and anything above 2 is great. 5 is broken if all 5 secrets is good. I still run Arcanologist im my secret mage even tho it can draw o card's if im unlucky.
The calls for "fake" always amuse me. I've been here for every single expansion, have we EVER had ONE fake card? In all those thousands? Nothing comes to mind, but no, every single card that isn't an official known source "FAKE FAKE FAKE"
This is powerful. I'm not sure why you guys are missing it.
If you draw 2 secrets the card get enough value for the cost, 3 is very good.
You don't need put a lot of bad secrets into your deck to use this card, mage can use x2 arcanologist + this new card and 6 or 7 secrets, looks very good to me.
Only see this in hunter and it could be good. Hunter secrets are pretty decent and mostly defensive. You use this card to flush out bad secret draws in the late game. You can play them next turn to charge your spellstone. Still... not enough secret synergy in the later stages of the game to really justify it I think. Fact of the matter is that you don't want to play secrets later in the game because you'll fall behind in tempo and other classes are doing way crazier things by then.

Exactly - everyone is being really dumb here except for a few of us.
That's an insane card damn, quite underrated when scrolling through this thread. I'm sure they'll also release a few more secrets which are actually worth putting in your deck. In tempo mage I can already see this getting played somehow. Playable if not very good

Was hoping for something better
Yep, fake as f.
I don't think I've ever been in a situation where I wanted to draw 5 secrets from my deck.

Ngl this is disappointing for a legendary cyborg raptor. And it seems to be good for just Tempo Secret Mage and Spellstone Hunter :/
That's one Legendary I hope not to ever open in my packs.^^
This is hands down one of the best cards in the set. It will not be in a “secret” deck though.
Kind of a waste of the cool art imo
Good morning

This is like Azure drake, but draws MORE...

You can put this card + Aluneth and use the slots of Arcane Intellect for more secrets in tempo mage.
