There are 2 possible reasons why in the video the healing does not happen twice:
- On the second cast you are already overloaded, so it does not count overload towards the 10 mana prerequisite. Most likely a bug cause overloaded crystals should be as valid as normal crystals towards the effect.
- On the second cast, the game does not count the spell as cast by you, but by the elemental. This one is a little more acceptable but still misleading especially for hearthstone standards.
Anyone notice that the 2nd volcano in the video didn't have life steal? Only works while on board? Think it may be bugged as it's supposed to be a 'battlecry'.
Yeah, I noticed that too. WTF???
This is my explanation - the heal didn't occur, because the shaman legendary minion cast the spell instead of the player. If the player cast it, it would have been different.
Dunno if it's a bug or not. Servant of Yogg-Saron) didn't synergise with Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. I'm guessing this is the case with Omega Mind. It isn't concretely said, that the player has to cast the spells, so the devs might consider it as a bug and fix it.

It doesn't have lifesteal because you overloaded after the first cast, so you really only have 8.
I'm wondering if Shudderwock decks don't cut a Healing Rain for one of these. Probably not, but AOE and healing in one go is worth testing out. I'm sure this will see play at some point.
More healing for a class that is already capable of one of the easiest combos in the game is scary. Makes me sad actually. I really wanted to play mech control warrior this expansion. We need a strong aggro deck to emerge from all of this just so control players are not constantly facing insta concede match ups.

It doesn't have lifesteal because you only have 5 mana crystals
That's not how omega card work. The battlecry is activated WHEN you have 10 crystals and you play the omega card. So the battlecry effect should persist for the rest of the turn. I feel like it's a bug. The first volcano had life steal so there's no reason the second one shouldn't either.
Shudderwock will repeat thia battlecry, too powerfull.
But you don't have mana to play anything except cheap spells like lightning storm and zap, which is not too frightening or impactful. And if the opponent has played 1 mana Grumble's Shudderwock then you're probably dead.
So, the battlecry is not too good for shudderwock himself but for surviving till you can play it.
I think Volcano is allright but it's much better with something like Electra Stormsurge + Lightning Storm. Clear your opponents board, heal up, keep your minions.
Decent card, doesn't accomplish anything shaman needs, won't see play.
This will definitely see play. This can be paired with other cards to Reno and clear the board. That’s more than decent if you understand the game.
Shaman has enough heal in wild as in standard atm. Also you dont need an iffy heal option against aggro when you reach turn 10 so its a worse Plated Beetle vs fast decks and super useless against control and Combo, so this will never see play if you understand the game lol.

You are overloaded for 2 mana at the start of the 2nd cast. You don't have 10.
Sure, if you can pull out the effect, it can be absolutely insane and save you but think about it, against what type of decks is a massive heal most useful ? Against aggro. By turn 10, you will either have crushed the aggro by playing all your AoE spells and some heal like healing rain OR you will be dead.
So even if you manage to survive until turn 10 against an aggro paladin or rogue, you will most certainly have already used your available spells. It's kinda like Hallazeal the Ascended, the effect is strong but it's too slow.
But this doesn't matter. A) You have to reach the point, where you have 10 mana crystals. They don't have to be full, in order for you to get the Omega effect. B) The crystals are locked starting on your next turn.

If you’re not making it to 10 against aggro you’re either a bad player, have a bad deck, or both. Useless against control? Stop trolling.
It’s a solid card, and will replace one healing rain in some decks or be additional heal in others. The reveal has made it clear that longer games will be common in the new meta. Plenty of heal will be needed for shaman.
Or you can clear the board and heal. Which is far more ideal.
Crushing Hand 2 mana 8 heal nuff said
even shaman btw

Thanks for ruining Hallazeal for me Blizzard, one of my favourite (now much less unique) cards in the game
It was a joke.

Guys, I don't think that card is that good.

Overload shaman will get a way better with this card
How many spells are you casting on the turn you play The Wock?
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

Seems pretty bad in Shudderwock Shaman. It'd be sweet if it wasn't an omega card.
