The card seems like to have a lot of potential. I am just not sure if it would fit into any decks. It seems like it would work with the Witch's Cauldron for additional spells.
A bit sad It's epic. Less chance to get it from packs, more dust to craft. On the other side, minions with elemental sinergy with rush, so you can keep them and buff or choose, where to hit, what's definitely more flexible then Flamewaker projectiles.
Very good card. Shaman finally gets some good overload synergies outside of that overload deck. I don't know if this will make the cut, because shaman still needs good mid-game minions (and burst spells), but the design is good and it's just a matter of time b4 this finds a home. Also an elemental.
Inb4 I have a weird feeling, that we will see a card, which generates this spell. Just like Flame Geyser could be generated from Steam Surger, I think we might see something similar in the next expansion.
I wasn't quite right w/ my prediction, but this is the closest I could have gotten.
I like it! I can't say that it's definitely strong enough to have a deck form around it, but 3/5 for 4 is a good statline when it has sufficient upside - and being able to do 2 pings of damage directed as you choose (though not around taunt) is pretty nice - Flamewaker levels of nice. Bonus points for amazing synergy with +attack to minions, like Flametongue and Dire Wolf.
Strong card! Seems like a great card to help balance out those post-overload turns. Also helps with those 2 damage low rolls for Lightning Storm. I like it!
the shaman overload its fun to play but we need a card to unlock the cristals in standard beacuse you play a lot of minions with overload or volcano, lithing storm, etc etc and the next turn you can do anything only watch :/
Here's another card based on summoning Sparks. I can't help but feel there's some card that has good synergy with these Sparks that hasn't been revealed yet, because I'm still having trouble understanding how I'm supposed to use them.
At least this card has good value. I'd only need to trigger its effect once to get more out of it than you paid, and I can do that easily with Zap!

This is what I think people seem to forget (or they just remember Kibler/Toast having success in their recent streams due to the slow meta allowing it to shine here and there). From the US forums:
It looks strong but quickly loses steam with the turn after turn tempo loss., Playing a 7/8 taunt for 5 mana seems like a great play until it get easily removed by any number of cheaper removal cards leaving you behind as you struggle to find an effective cast with the 3 mana you have the next turn compared to the 6-7 your opponent has.
It's actually a very sub-standard deck now, used to be MUCH stronger before it's key cards got rotated to wild.
In theory OL makes sense from a design aspect as the idea of "forward paying" mana should be a powerful tools; however, in practice answers are just too efficient and so much of HS is based on tempo due to attacker decided trades that it just hasn't worked.
As long as we don't receive a tool to efficiently clear the overloaded mana crystals or make use of them (e.g. when Lightning Storm failed once again and you'd fall further behind the next turns) the archetypes core will always be power creeped on by newer cards without Overload.
The card itself is okay, not great (because you wouldn't want to cripple yourself each turn to trigger the effect) and without some sort of attack boost the tokens aren't much of a threat except for a bunch of Silver Hand Recruit or Zoo-style decks.
idk what about way better violet teacher everyone thinks isnt good. even by itself with no defining deck or synergies is already good enough for contructed as an anti aggro or bloodlust tool
People already think this card is insanely good but in all likelyhood, its probably even better than any of us think it is. I'm calling this to be one of the most degenerate cards of the expansion.

Together with Voltaic Burst and Bloodlust an interesting turn 10 board clear...
Love that it doesn’t matter how many mana crystals you overload. Feels fun and fresh!
I like it. Nice support for Overload shaman. Not broken like Tunnel Trogg and not slow like Unbound Elemental

inb4 I wrote the following text about Voltaic Burst

This looks like an expansion of good\great epics....
I think this thing is very playable. If there are good overload board-wide buff - It will bring token shaman back.
I not so sure, turn 4 3/5 and kill a 4 health minion for 0 mana don't look so bad to me, the totem make the tokens a lot better.

Cute... gimmicky... IMO won’t see play.

view it as 2 extra minion ping damage, I like
Might be good with lightning strike to pick off the low rolls.

Good card, what i don't understand is why they couldn't make it a 4/5 like Leyline Manipulator who is arguably stronger.
decent card, good tempo and the tokens have good synergy with flametongue so not bad at all. :)
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
