This card has me seriously interested. It has decent stats for the cost and it's creation along with the new legendary minion make me think that deathrattle rogue may be a new thing that Blizzard is trying to push. If they print a powerful deathrattle minion for either 4 or 5 mana, this could be a really great weapon on curve. Even as-is, you can use it to abuse Carnivorous Cube into giving you a ton of stats fast--for example:
This is a great weapon with lots of amazing synergy, but the amount of people comparing it to war axe and crying is weird to me. War axe is in a class that adds armor every turn making weapons more valuable as you can trade your hp resource more effectively so a plain text weapon is better in warrior than in most other classes. Also, rogue has the ability to make it's own weapon every turn thus lowering the value of all other weapons by a small amount. I think this weapon is great for the cost and the breakpoint allows for some amazing combos and probably even more with the card dump, but strictly comparing it to war axe and holding all things equal is not a correct approach. The two very different classes interact with weapons in different ways and I think they are both fine where they are.
I voted "meta defining" Not cause this card is so strong it will define the meta, but it will be a core card (maybe to an extend you will also run Cavern Shinyfinder to fetch this) in deathrattle rogue till this weapon rotates.. and a core card in a tier 2-3 deck is meta defining..
Well it might be tier 1 if we get a decent deathrattle that aren't eggs and cubes..
I thought it was a battlecry at first I really prefer it being a deathrattle cause you can interact with it with oozes, and explorers also you can equip it early and then trigger something.
Can people don't compare Fiery War Axe with 3 mana 3/2 weapons? It's a basic card just like Arcane Explosion that got overridden by Defile and Maelstrom Portal, yet people complain when Blizzard changes something reasonable...
Powermace was good enough to make mech Shaman a thing in GvG era. So this is quite possibly good enough to make deathrattle Rogue a thing in standard.
Also reminds me of Unearthed Raptor with the free extra deathrattle on a card that would normally cost 3 anyways. A 3/2 weapon isn't quite as playable as a 3/4 minion in the 3 mana slot, but in return it's much easier to get the effect to trigger consistently and on curve. You can drop this on 3 even if your 2-drop is missed or doesn't survive and then wait to break the weapon the same turn you play a strong deathrattle minion.
Looking forward to giving deathrattle rogue another try - failed spectacularly with it during Frozen Throne when I was trying to get the spellstone to be playable! Maybe now though...

I would imagine it was very difficult to make the spellstone work before it was even released in K&C!
I share the same sentiment though. I really enjoyed deathrattle rogue during K&C and didn't see enough in the Witchwood to pull me back to it. With these tools though I might justify crafting Dollmaster Dorian for some Roll the Bones shenanigans.

This is going straight into my wild deathrattle Rogue for sure.
Dunno why Blizz is making DR Rogue a thing right now. It has no place in Standard when rattles are sub-par and lacks N'Zoth.
Even so, I find this card merely playable. Good effect, good weapon... solid pick. Nothing outstanding, but good to have.
This seems really strong.
3 mana 3/2 weapons have seen a lot of play in the past and activating the deathrattle of a cube on curve seems insane.
Deathrattle Rogue is getting a lot of support, I think miracle will be on top, but cards like this definitely help. I'm excited to give it a try.

Turn 3: Necrium Blade + attack
Turn 4: Fal'dorei Strider (no attack)
Turn 5: Carnivorous Cube + attack to create two 4/4s and keep the 4/6 cube with two other 4/4s = 20/22 in stats

Note:
Using glass as the hilt of your blade is an ill-advised practice and generally not a good idea.
At first i though it was meh, but decently statted weapon with no downside, only upside, is quite cool.
There are some relatively simple shenanigans that this weapon would enable, like playing Explosive Sheep as a 5 mana Flamestrike, milling with Dancing Swords, getting more Flame Elemental from Igneous Elemental for Crystal Core Quest, combo breaking with Deathlord, Meat Wagon magnetic shenanigans, Egg shenanings, Cube shenanigas...
Not bad
Really strong, having a play dead availavle to trigger for 0 mana is quite good.

This was made to push deathrattle rogue, but instead we will have a push for mid range with a cube + this on turn five

I like elementals and totems.
It's not bad - it's basically a Play Dead that you can set up on an earlier turn, thereby costing 0 when you need it.
Does rogue really want a Play Dead effect though?
This, Malygos in hand + Kobold Illusionist = 4 mana Malygos.
really good... could see where this card is going :D

Actually a regular chicken egg contains only 4 grams of protein. I'm not sure how much is in devilsaur eggs though.
Fiery war axe with text!
