An interesting card, at least the effect is unique and worthy of the legendary tag. I guess, we'll need to see if there are any powerful buffs for priest in this set. At the moment only Power Word: Shield and Unidentified Elixir come to mind for Standard.
[edit] Dunno why, but I read the card effect differently. I thought I read how the minion would revive, if you cast a spell generally in the previous turn. After reading this again, I will rate it lower than before, but I won't take my words back for the Nzoth synergies.
Dust tier card, massive tempo loss at a key moment for priest where you go from being behind to starting to stabilize. I can think of no situation where on turn 6 i'd rather play this than bone drake or bloodhoof. Even in wild i feel this card isn't worth taking up a n'zoth board slot as a vanilla 5/5 is not good at all. Is missing another effect other than the rez as of right now its a value loss every time you rez it as you are still using a card in hand to produce a vanilla 5/5, which is a guaranteed route to loss as priest in the 6+ mana stages of the game.
I pray that mind blast and inner fire get hall of famed so maybe we can have cool cards again. 2 expansions in a row with relatively niche/unplayable legendaries makes me sad.
Looks like priests are getting two garbo legendary cards this expansion. On the other hand, that's two legendary cards that priest players won't have to bother crafting if they want to build any upcoming priest decks.
I see a lot of guys voted very good and meta-defining, i hope, you will get this card and will see how bad it is. Yes, it can be playble, but, good? no, for now - it's bad and pack filler. Waiting next exp. and help for buff priest.
How is it bad. I mean a solid minion with a chance to snowball if left unsilenced or silence is already baited and the opportunity cost to run it is near zero since you'll run it in the deck that will have spells or buffs like Lyra's/OTK/Spellstone, pretty good in Wild: PwS, Velen's Chosen, Binding/Flash heal, etc. Damn even holy smite if you are desperate for board. Can even be good in Innerfire priest since opponent has to kill it twice or the resummoned one can be buffed to kill you next turn. Pretty damn annoying to deal with when resurrected/spellstoned. Can't see Control Warrior deals with it without using card slot for silence.
Yes it's bad in Mind Blast priests or not-so-much-spell priest, but it's your fault to run it in those decks. But I think it should be playable at least in some decks that can use it. Not very good, but not bad IMO.
Anyone is thinking of him and 29 cards around. With the introduction of Power Word: Replicate, or Vivid Nightmare, casting either of them onto him will make him ressurectable with 2 copies on the board. On the other hand, he can be cheated out from the deck by Shadow Essence, so it won't be like Dragon Soul. If he got shut down by clearances, and silence then he still could be resurrected by resurrect spells. The only con are the transformations(the first one, if he got killed before transformed then it wouldn't be anything), and the inconsistent of drawing right cards on right turns(can see in Big Priest). If managed to handle it right, this card can completely destroy any known minions-base decks, or removal heavy decks (by exhausting them).
I don't know about that. There are just not enough buffs to keep the bastards alive like that. Remember when he dies and comes back you'll need to rebuff him again. There aren't enough buffs you could put in your deck to out board presence decks like Taunt Druid or even Snowfury Giant shaman.
You need to spend at least 7 mana to trigger the deathrattle, while Cairne costs 1 less and always triggers. That 1 less attack loss means nothing under these conditions.
If there were more usable spells then maybe now it's not worth it.

seems alright.

it's a strong card.great synergies with nozth in wild.

Unless they print a card like Explorers Hat for priest, this card won’t see any play.
Will copying the Zerek after targeting him with a spell make both have the activated deathrattle?

Voted playable for now because it might be good with some support, but doesn't look too good with the cards revealed.
Interesting it might be Really paintful
If this card would return the cards you have put in him, he would be so much better. (Basically "cloning" the cards)

The master boner...
I Bought All The Funnel Cakes
A 6 mana 5/5 legendary Priest is always good, right guys ?
How about Unidentified Elixir ?
I would assume this card hints of some more efficient buffs being introduced for Priest, different from +hp.
Casting a buff on a sleeping minion is generally a desperate move, unless there is a taunt or a significant effect involved.
And a recurring modest body in lategame is not such a significant effect.
Not a bad card, but it needs proper support. So much so that this card would be a topping anyway, rather than a real focus.
I LIKE IT. Will be Very good if we see some kind of buffs
Weak to silence
