Like Blackguard synergy and healadin in general. but the problem with this card is the cost. 2 drop is for Prince Keleseth because healadin is a midrange deck, not control. But the card himself is okay.
all idiots that are saying this card is bad are dumb aggro players trying to sway people away from playing this because thye know this card shits on aggro really hard
Why are some people calling Forbidden Healing bad? I remember it saw a lot of play back in the past, when control/Anyfin paladin was strong. I remember how the meta was extremely aggressive and the burst healing was considered to be valuable. We had freeze mage, aggro shaman, dragon warrior if you wish. In MSoG jade druid killed nearly all of the control decks, but Anyfin Paladin was still somewhat viable thx to its burst potential. Forbidden Healing helped them survive and prolonged the game as much as possible. In Ungoro (the standard) Control Paladin was at its peak. The meta consisted of Pirate Warr, Token Shaman, Token Druid, Discover Burn Mage, Murloc Paladin and the healing allowed you to continue the fight. Jade Druid was more managable thx to Sunkeeper Tarim and against the remaining control decks Paladin had a good N'Zoth package.
So this is the impression I got from this epic card. It was good and I think it's still is. Control Paladin slowly fell off, when other combo/control decks replaced him. Jade Druid, Raza Priest in KoFT, control/cubelock in K&C. Some people mention the need for a win-condition, but I will go beyond that - paladin needs strong board clears. They can't always rely on Equality + Consecration (or Wild Pyromancer) to deal with annoying boards. This is a 2-card combo. This can hardly compete against Psychic Scream, Lord Godfrey/Twisting Nether, Brawl etc etc. And it becomes even more pathetic, when a paladin wants to clear a fairly squishy board and it's forced to play the aforementioned 2-card one, while other classes have better answers (see Defile, Duskbreaker, Dragon's Fury).
I don't know how the meta in wild looks like, but if Forbidden Healing doesn't see play, that doesn't mean, that the card is bad, but just that control paladin can't compete with the other decks. The burst heal is a great way to get back to the game, but if you can't clear the opponent's board, then you are just delaying your demise.
Card is only o.k. Could maybe good if there isn't any combo decks in the meta, but unlikely because it should do a powerful job at slowing the game down and away from aggro decks.
This is a very good card for control, can be draw with the 2 manas spell, heal 16 with Lay Of Hands.
I don't know if control paladin will be possible but the deck get some the tools needed for that, good draw and healing.
Give paladin another good mass removal, a reliable win condition and a neutral tech completely destroy the cursed shudder and will be a very good deck.
Pretty much useless except as a combo in control pally/healadin, which isn't viable. Not sure adding this one combo makes it viable either. No synergy with completely botched Lesser Pearl Spellstone (why on earth do the heals have to be separate‽).
All that said, I'll probably craft this card and try and fail to make it work because I love playing and losing with healadin
Another attempt to push Heal Paladin, which I'm definitely ok with! Would be nice to play a non-aggro Paladin deck for once. I slightly worry that this won't be sticky enough to generate much value though, even with the divine shield. Also the fact it has lifesteal is irrelevant unless you buff it past 1-attack, but that's just going to make it even more of a target for removal/silence.
Definitely has potential, but will need a whole new archetype to build around, and that's impossible to predict at this point.
It is a solid card... if the Paladin really needed some healing support. However, he doesn't need it, so this card won't be used. With that being said, we don't know any of the Paladin's epic cards yet.

exactly. Only few people played in the past on this archetype. But so many "ControlPaly" experts here, unbelievable.
One last post b4 I go to work:

As a Paladin main,i say that this card is very bad in this meta and probably won't see play.
The Glass Knight is imo better than this card, and we know how popular is The Glass Knight.
Also this card needs Taunt.
Great against any mage who has equipped Aluneth.

I agree with others: why isn't this a mech?! ...and, yes, a bit of a boring card, but I love me some Corpsetaker, so synergy value makes me happy.
The card is trash for all the reasons already mentioned. Disappointing legendary but it's fine with me. Paladin needs to be dumped on a little bit.
Everyone is saying how bad this card is, but fail to realize how great this card can be in a Hand Buff deck.
Vs aggro, kill x2 dudes and heal 4 to 2 manas, it is really bad people?
Trying to see paladin outside of the mindless aggro bullshit, this card is playable to very good.
Maybe. If such a deck existed in standard. As it stands, this card will not be good enough to see play.

Awesome art and card. But I doubt they would print such a cool card.

would've been perfect if this had taunt.
