hunter is not the class for combo card especially late game! Change my mind!
in standard, i can't, i would run this as a fun card in a midrange deck (or as an highest cost card in agro) because of the 8 damage just for clear, in wild, this has a lot of potential with Feign Death and Baron Rivendare, that i would like to try too, if i had the Feign Death xd
Yeah it's not going to be something that can be set up easily.
I don't see this as a face hunter sort of card. Face Hunter wants to kill you by 6 or 7, period. While I do think of this as a pressure of card it's obviously more midrange. There are enough "trigger deathrattle" effects in hunter now for the damage off of this to be pretty substantial. If they kill the little dudes they still take 8 and you can find other targets for your deathrattle trigger cards.
That being said I don't think it poses enough pressure. We have very popular standard cards that just hard counter this guy, like Primordial Drake. Unless they are on deaths door 8 damage can be shrugged off by a great many top tier decks.
Perhaps at first people will be silly enough to leave the tokens up and let hunters just trigger their death rattles over and over again before dropping their own drake for the coup de grace
I just think it could work, not a legendary deck but at least it would be fun to OTK like this as hunter. Just an idea of how to use the card is what im saing. And there are also other options for otk, without this card. Like with the star aligner and mechanichal whelp and fireworks tech. U could do 7 damage to all enemies, and have a very solid board if u keep triggering the mechanical whelp deathrattle
This card would be good if mid-range Hunter still existed. It simly does not. Mid-range Hunter has not existed for a very long time now. Spell Hunter got no love, so it looks like either deathrattle Hunter or bust.
One thing not being mentioned is the AoE protection this card provides when playing this as a followup to a solid board state.
Yea but would it really stop you from clearing it? I don't think 8dmg would detour me from clearing a board at all unless I had no more HP, in which case you lost vs a Hunter anyway. I don't think this card is good unless you really build a janky deck that is all about doubling down on those deathrattles. and lets be honest, that would be a terrible deck as history has shown. IMO I think this card is so niche that will nearly never see play.

Agreed. If you're getting full value from his battlecry, you're "protecting" at most two other minions.
I don't understand the hype for this card. It's pretty bad in anything other than memey OTK Wild combos. I don't even think it's good in a Mech Hunter.

Interesting card. Not sure how this fits into the overall Hunter theme or archetype however...feels like this should be a neutral legendary.
Hunter has a strong Deathrattle theme, and also several cards that deal damage specifically to face (Cobra Shot, Brave Archer, Steady Shot, etc.)
that's a lot of face damage

Did any of my fellow Hip Hop listeners get the card's reference to Funk Master Flex and him dropping bombs? :D
