Control paladin lacks draw in Standard, this card solve the problem.
That’s true, but more so it lacks a wincondition. Or let’s say other decks complete their wincondition faster, like Bigmage or Shudderwock.
I think it’s a great card, you can pull the Framebot, Stonehill. People say Scorpomatic ,and I played that card a while, but it’s not worth on his own.Often you only eat a 1- drop and I doubt we see many Doomsayers in the meta when Mechs basically have rush. ( Lynessa was not the card i had in mind since it’s more the buffs I was looking for) . But let’s see maybe we get some kind of finisher Mech.
Don't forget Dollmaster Dorian. If they print some nice 1 attack deathrattle minion it can be a combo-card for instant value. Atm he would only work with Acolyte or Bolvar which is too bad to build a deck around but cards which can draw specific cards are always nice to have as deckbuilder
There is a ton of potential here. You could specifically only include a few 1 attack minions and draw them, essentially giving you 'extra' copies of that card, especially legendary cards.
Lynessa, Bolvar and a few others that people mentioned.
This is far better than Small Time Recruits because the game is filled with 1 attack minions that have interesting battlecry effects or board state interactions.
Because Paladin will have Mech support, Demolisher is searchable as well as the new Framebot.
Stonehill on curve is awesome.
Scorp o matic for tech play and mech synergy.
Bloodsail for weapon removal.
Secret Keeper for Secret Paladin decks.
This card is very very good. And I havent even thought about Wild either.
Much better than small time recruits as you have mana flexibility for what you pull, and you can get that 2 mana mech to start building a magnetized thing if that's viable.
Tutoring is always good. Will it be a staple? No. Will it might see play in buff or mech decks, I can see it. If just a 1 of.
Interesting card in a focused deck, but the idea of this actually replacing divive favour in 90% of paladin decks is laughable. Draw argent squire and lynessa for 2, vs draw 6 cards for 3 mana.....yeah.
This seems much like much more of a midrange/control card than an aggro card. You can draw Stonehill Defender, Acolyte of Pain, etc..
Since the Call to Arms nerf there was already a pretty big incentive to switch from the Baku/Genn decks to a normal midrange deck and this might be enough to definitively make the difference.
It will be a fun synergy, but not a very strong one in wild. Hobgoblin is just too slow as an aggro strategy and not strong enough as a mid range strategy to build a deck around. It could be a fun deck to get you to 15 or slightly higher, but you will struggle vs the current and future T1 and T2 decks in the wild meta.
Fits nicely in Exodia Pala, my fav deck (draws tar creeper, stonehill, acolyte, etc) while thinning your deck for finding combo pieces quicker!

Acolyte of Pain
it can revive Grimestreet Outfitter decks
it can set up otk Drakkari Enchanter decks
it can help galvadon decks with Primalfin Champion
it can help aggro with Jeeves
even forgotten trash like Bolvar Fordragon could see play.
definietelly good design for me - not overpowered, but meta defining.
Amazing card for Quest, Control and Handbuff Paladin.
Solid little card. It's a tutor effect that has wide applications that can easily be narrowed down in deck building. Much Fan.
I think this could bring Even Paladin back. Maybe not back to the top, but card draw was one of the big problems since the nerf.
Drygulch Jailor is a reasonable card thanks to Crystal Lion and of course Sunkeeper Tarim, Upgradeable Framebot is a pretty decent 2-drop and a good target for Blessing of Kings, same goes for Vicious Scalehide, Scorp-o-matic might become more useful, and if there is another mech or two, the deck might also make use of Annoy-o-Module...
Depends on the rest of the set, and still might not be good enough. But I think there's a chance the deck will have a comeback.

2 Mana draw my Lynessa and my Stonehill Defender's. Great card.

This is by far the best card Mid Range/Control/Quest Paladin could've asked for. You don't only draw 2 cards for 2 mana (see Ancestral Knowledge or Ice Fishing). You also get to search for Righteous Protector, Stonehill Defender or even Lynessa Sunsorrow (to avoid a bad topdeck). Coupled with Call to Arms this could possibly render Loot Hoarder redundant in exchange for more defensive 2-drops such as Plated Beetle or Vicious Scalehide. And yeah, it would pull Bolvar, Fireblood as well but the poor guy won't see daylight any soon since Bubbledin is a dead archetype.
I am actually hoping Bolvar does make a comeback... the theme of the mech cards in this expansion seem to include many with divine shield.
Bolver isn't a bad card. It just needs support. I am hopeful he gets a chance to shine at last!

Great card for Mid and Control Paladin
Drawing both meat wagons? This card is OP
