If the metagame is slow enough to let this thing ramp up (i.e there isn't some crazy odd-paladin killing you by turn 6), this card is REALLY scary. Lab Recruiter, Valeera the Hollow, Shadowstep and Vanish, combined with this thing's low base cost, are going to become unbelievably dangerous at 10-mana.
Assuming you play one of these guys and lab recruiter it, then get to 10-mana with valeera, you could play one, shadowstep it, vanish to clear the board, play the shadowstepped hopper, and then play the copy. This would create a 9/9 and an 11/11 on an empty board with three more hoppers in your deck (each of which could be played twice with your hero power copy) and a lab recruiter to copy even more (any you can valeera-copy the recruiter to go infinite). The next one you draw would boost to 13/13 and 15/15....and so on.
As a final note, this card CANNOT co-exist with the tavern brawls that let you pick a couple minions and get a deck filled with them (e.g. pick 2 cards and get 15 of each: Shadowstep and Pogo-Hopper). I hope they keep this in mind.

Once you draw myra's unstable element, you wait until you have one of these and a lab recruiter in your hand, draw your entire deck, and play, it, then recruiter it, and use the valeera power to copy your recruiter. Congratulations, your entire deck is an infinite flood of giant minions and cards that shuffle more giant minions into your deck.

That will destroy control decks and lose almost every game vs aggro, nothing new for rogue class. :P

I don't think that was the point. I think they were talking about whether the buff scales with the quest, which it shouldn't. Cards that lower attack or health such as Aldor Peacekeeper and Equality, do not work and your minions retain their 4/4 stats
I think this lil bugger is gonna be EVERYWHERE for awhile. . . I hope it at least has good, memorable play sounds, so that it can really drive people batshit after awhile :)
Not sure how practical this would be but it’s not pointless to say you will eventually have a 2 mana 7/7 which is a step closer to the stars aligning!!!
Sooo, is anyone trying the pogo-hopper deck after the nerfs?
inb4 I am aware that the nerf to Giggling Inventor weakens this deck greatly against aggro decks (this also included Zilliax for extra heal + no more DK valeera synergies), but still, I am curious and that's why I ask
yeah actually I can see the similarity to jade idol once it gets going in that regard. It seems that the rogue DK might be key in the combo as well.
What do you think about cards like zola to make direct copies, then you have kobold illusionist and sonya as well that can also make copies.

Shudderwock would have killed you by then
Edwin is COMBO, not a battlecry.

Kind of slow, but definitely a funny meme.

I am still yet to see this card in play?
Has anyone played it or come up against it?
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.
