I mean.. it's 1 mana less than Infest which is good...
But seriously have these give your minions Deathrattle add [X] to your hand or Spirit Echo types of cards ever been good? You need a pretty big board to get some good benefit from it and that can be hard at times unless you're playing some sort of weird aggro deck.
And while yes the 2 mana could help with that, knowing the history of these type of cards I'm still on the ropes with it if history has said anything. However in the golden situation this could be how Mech Hunter gets stamina back after a huge burst and more notably, the Mech tag has a lot less stinkers compared to the Beast tag, and even some stinkers like Unpowered Steambot can be improved with some of the coming Magnetic effects.
All in all, I think this card is playable, but ultimately I think I need to wait for the other mech cards and the other hunter cards to see if this card is worth running in a type of Mech hunter.
That's really a worse Infest. Why do you think that mechs would be better for Hunters than beasts? At least beasts activate Kill Command, can be buffed by Houndmaster and can gain Charge from Tundra Rhino. And there are no 0/9 beasts while there is a 0/9 mech.
Hmm, difficult one to judge right now. Voted 'bad' for the time being as I'm mainly focused on Standard and we haven't yet seen enough Mech Hunter support in standard to make this worthwhile.
Could be much better in Wild though, and potentially arena too for hand refill potential.
Not sure about this one. Whether it ends up being playable or total garbage is entirely down on future mechs since you don't want to get a random Alarm-o-Bot, Meat Wagon, Unpowered Steambot or similar crap.
Current standard mech list here, boomsday mechs here.
Imho this card is weak. Infest may have given you bad beasts, but you can't deny that hunter could utilitize them way better than the mechs. I hear what some of you are saying - wait until we see the rest of the set. That's true, but this goes for you too. Pls don't get overhyped by this card so soon. The current mechs aren't impressive enough and we can only speculate how good the mech synergies will be in the hunter class.

It can change if they'll print many bad mech pack-fillers but it is hard to beat beasts with their collection of understatted basic cards, awful 1 mana minions, expensive mediocre bodies and cards with weird synergies
Getting value is no Problem in HS! Its more about how can i win vs aggro, (wich always will be draw dependent) , or how can i win vs other slow decks, wich happen to have (almost) unbeatable Lategame Value cards like several DKs, OTK stuff like Shudderwock,Malygoscombos or new powerful Decks that could rise with the new expansion Quest/ArchbishopPriest, ComboDruid, or KingsbaneRouge. Hunter has to race those , there is no way you can play a normal valuegame of playing random Mechs.
(To be honest the new Herocard of Dr. Boom doesnt look scary at all compared to those.) They have to print something more aggressive. Otherwise there will be 40minute games all over the place.
Current standard mech list here, boomsday mechs here.

Thx, the mech lists are a good basis for a first guess.
@topic: In general, these value cards that need minions on board were not highly viable. Infest completely sucked and even Spirit Echo wasn't very good although you can choose the minions to get back to your hand. It is true that Cybertech Chip is cheaper but I am not sure whether this will be enough to make it viable.
The lists of mechs also look not too great at present. Most of the present standard mechs are bad and in the Boomsday mechs there are also really bad outcomes like Mulchmuncher . Hunter would need a good mech deck to make this card worth the inclusion. Just as a hand refill without a underlying mech based deck in hunter I consider this card bad.
I like. I actually think it is going to be Very Good. 1 mana cheaper thanInfest is a big deal considering how much competition there is for the 3 drop slot in Hunter. Blizzard already said that Hunter is one of the 3 classes getting love for Mech synergies and Hunter always has a problem with Card Draw. Hunter decks always seem to run out of steam which is why hitting Deathstalker Rexxar and Tracking is such a big deal. While this isn't card draw, it is Card generation which should give the class some steam
Yeah, making this 2 mana does make it that much more powerful than Infest. And since in Standard, there aren't as many mechs as in Wild, this will get you a specific pool of cards, rather than random junk.
Does it make it playable? I think so, especially with Unleash the Hounds. But is that a good 5 mana play? Unleash for 3 dogs, then this card to draw 3 mechs?
Playable doesn't necessary mean good though. I think this is one of those cards that could be a 1 of in Mech Hunter. I wouldnt want to draw 2 of them early and have literally nothing to do on board. You will lose games fast that way.
In my Beast Hunter decks, I did play 1 Infest for 'card draw'. But it was something that had to be timed right. This is 1 mana cheaper, so its very doable.
Infest never saw any real play so I doubt this will either, unless some sort of mech hunter comes through but even then would you run this in the deck? i'm not sure, I'll still test it anyways to see what it's like in a mech hunter deck as I like experimenting with different things.

Goddaaaamn, I liked building swarm decks with Infest for fun but this will be even better if we get the right tools for it!
Else there’s always Wild, I love cards like these :)
but there is Voidripper ...
1. have 9 health minion
2. play voidripper
3. ????
4. concede
infest but worse since its mechs and its random, aka its not playable
Also 1 mana less and much less variance with mechs so not unplayable

Playable to very good.
I like cards like that one

Bad without significant support. Hunters don't do value.

Meat Wagon and Unpowered Steambot aren't that bad with magnetic stuff in hand. They are situational, not awful no matter what deck you play and what is the situation on the board. I mean cards like Totem Cruncher or Shimmering Courser orGlitter Moth
Alarm-o-Bot is the only mech that looks unplayable.
Demolisher, Clockwork Automaton, Mulchmuncher and few others won't make you excited but they are not nearly as bad as various beasts from random beast generators
It can change if they'll print many bad mech pack-fillers but it is hard to beat beasts with their collection of understatted basic cards, awful 1 mana minions, expensive mediocre bodies and cards with weird synergies
Not a bad card, but not what Hunter needs!

Really nice one
Add deathrattle hunter cards have never saw play even when they had infinite value

Mech hunter will be tier 1. Calling it now.

Not impressed... a mech version of Infest... wow/yawn... I need to see Hunter's mech options but it still seems slow and situational... so pass
