I’m going to make a Hadronox deck with the only taunts being this card
Long ago I was against warlock and in fatigue stage, I actually managed to make 7 annoy-o-trons on the board while I was playing Echo of Medivh and Hobgoblin deck, he ragequitted afterward, even his doomguards can't handle it (lol). This was one of my most memorable games I had, good times.
In standard constructed, this might work in Baku the Mooneater decks. Those couldn't take Saronite Chain Gang (IMHO better than this in general), but this Giggling Inventor has an odd mana cost. A lot of sticky minions to be buffed with things like Cold Blood, Cobalt Scalebane, Fungalmancer, or Raid Leader, and buffs are always extra-good on Divine Shield minions. Meanwhile, multiple divine shield taunts work great at protecting a board of small stuff from value trades, or protecting a big Hench-Clan Thug.
Honestly I'm going out on a limb and will say this will be the huge meta-breaker of the set and will be meta-defining.
It's three bodies, two of which are very resilient and hard to deal with. This seems very good in a multitude of decks that care about board presence with little risk of removal. It's good in Paladin right before Sunkeeper Tarim, and it has Magnetic Synergies. It can even be played in Odd Paladin just to threaten board without over committing.
Token Druid, Quest Rogue, or just about any slow control deck can easily consider this as an option to slow down minion decks.
I think this card is pretty good, summons 2 annoy-o-trons which can then be magnetised with something else either on the same turn or a future turn and it'll already have taunt/divine shield and that's good just by itself so ye i'll be testing this out for sure.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
More reasons to run Scorp-o-matic in the new meta! As others have said, also vulnerable to Mossy Horror and Blood Knight, so maybe not as good as it first appears.
I expect some people will try it in Odd Paladin, will be interesting to see if that works.
It does a lot for both aggro and control. It provides bodies that can be buffed, it protects other threats, it prevents face damage, it stalls the board to prepare board clears. It pisses off the opponent.
I hope it won't see play. Just think about it. If this card became a staple in many decks, the meta would be a nightmare. It's a good card that does lots of things, but it has very specific counters. Control decks would counter this with Mossy Horror or Mind Control Tech, aggro would play Blood Knight. Game were decided by whether and how well Giggling Inventor gets answered.
I think this card will find its way into both aggro and control decks but right away I can see this fitting perfectly into Big Spell Mage. In the early game Giggling Inventor creates a big speed bump to buy you time for your AOEs while also giving you targets to create Water Elemental in the late game. Great card overall.
thats easily the best anti aggro tool it alone take 4 attacks atleast to deal with the taunts plus there will still be a 2/1 left on board too bad it dont have taunt on it own too so it could be included on quest warrior :(
Amazing value. This is an unconditional summon 3 minions with one card, two of which are very sticky and have the valuable Mech tag. I can see it fitting into a wide variety of different decks - token decks, Mech decks, Warrior Quest decks, Paladin divine shield decks, Shudderwock decks, combo decks that need taunts and stall, etc.
So this card is more like a Frostnova that deals 1 damage. I can imagin this card seeing some experimentation in like big spell mage to buy you 1 turn until you can use Blizzard or in other Decks that try to do similar stuff. But I cant imagin aggro or midrange decks using this. Simply because this seems like a win-more card for them and if they have to board they want to push the advantage using like Fungalmancer or Cobalt Scalebane
Are you serious? This card can help aggro decks come back from a board wipe and establish a three-minion board with just one card. Paladins can follow up with Sunkeeper Tarim the next turn, Shamans with a Bloodlust, Druids with a Savage Roar/Power of the Wild, etc, etc. The possibilities are endless.

I miss you Ben... :(
Blood Knight hard counter kappa
And then play Kel'Thuzad for even more annoyance :D
Sticky mechs to put your magnetic stuff on? Better than it looks if mechs are any good.

I like elementals and totems.
People can't realize how this card is strong

Don’t forget that divine shield is worth about a mana, and that taunt is abou .5 mana. Plus, at worst, divine shield is +1 health.

Arena nightmare, and a fair anti agro/control-ish card with the Mech upside. It will definitely see experimentation, if not being really good.

I guess it is too slow for aggro-based Odd Paladin deck. It is more suited for midrange/control decks like Odd Warrior, Shudderwock Shaman etc.
No brain - no pain.

I hope the card sucks, but I doubt it.

Gonna be so annoying, especially in arena. BRODE WHY HAVE THOU LEFT US?
