I can understand transforming Voodoo Doll would eliminate the deathrattle (as it always has), but I do not understand when the targeted minion is transformed... or even silenced, would remove the effect of Voodoo Doll. I'd understand if Voodoo Doll read as "Battlecry: Curse target minion. Deathrattle: Destroy cursed minion" as the minion is tagged with a buff/debuff. If we literally follow what the card says, then that minion is just a choice, no in-game effect, just like Choose One is a choice and has no in-game effects... same with Transforming too. These do not interact with anything else in the game, except remove every enchantment on the targeted minion.
It is a weird change that I do not understand, and I think the cards' text needs to change to keep it consistent, or revert the changes made to Voodoo Doll
Ha ~ made me chuckle. I award you one internet point for your charisma.

It makes a lot of sense to me. The voodoo doll thing is a 'debuff' like Corruption. Silence should remove it.
I knew someone was going to bring this up. Corruption applies a buff/debuff, while Voodoo Doll doesn't. The effect of Voodoo Doll is centered around it, not the targeted minion.
You do realize the original minion doesn't exists anymore once it transforms into something else, right? Voodoo doll curse sticking onto a completely new minion makes no sense

I realized that after the Magnetic comment, as it literally changes the minion, but the silence part doesn't make sense.
I'm going to give a crude example of why I think it is confusing. If you can silence the targeted minion to prevent it from dying when Voodoo Doll is destroyed, then wouldn't it make sense that you could silence, lets say, Bonemare to remove the buff from its targeted minion.

You're basically silencing the selection.
Not really the thing is the Doll places a debuff on a minion the debuff only activates once the deathrattle is activated so when you sillence the Voodoo Doll you dont let the deathrattle triger so hte debuff is there it just cant be activated, when you silence the minion you remove the debuff from it so when the deathrattle trigers theres no debuff as if the minion is already dead. When you transform a minion its a new minion with no relation with any buff/debuff it had they make it clear in the patch that its hoe it should and will work now.
Bonemare places a buff on a minion, the 5/5 does nothing it has just battlecry the body has no effects.

Reason I said CRUDE example... Does Voodoo Doll apply a debuff? This is news to me...
One very important option in the poll is missing: "I don't care". ;)
Been here almost 4 years I can count the number of polls that made sense on one hand. (Just to clarify the card rating polls don't make sense)
Could care less about it, almost all the time voodo doll is used by mage as a 5 mana assassinate. they just fixed bugs that Disguised toast pointed out.

Indeed... at least you can troll and pick the third option.... why did I even make that option....
If that were the case, then changing the cards text would be a good idea.
It's not the same, bro.

We get it you play mage and have a one card destroy a minion and summon a minion. Get over it.

Actually, I don't play Mage... at all...
