You don't get to choose the minion it attacks. If they have 3 minions, you are not sure which of the other 2 it will attack. If would be better if it attacked both minions on either side of it.
So when I said this is Betrayal x3. I was wrong. it's not even that good. Poison or not.
Let's say you are facing against 3 minions and face tank a giant and take 8 damage. The giant then attacks 1 of the other 2 minions. You can't control it. What if you NEED for the Giant to kill the other Giant and it doesnt? You just took 8 damage, didnt remove that Giant and now have 2 giants swinging back at you next turn.
No, this is not under-rated. This is simply terrible. If it attacked all adjacent minions, I would be with you.
I disagree. Unlike betrayal this card can be buffed and has 3 charges (minimum) in a single card making it more efficient. The downside is weapon removal.
RNG does play a part in this if they have 3 plus minions up (assuming that is the way it works) but by that same token I think it promotes smart use of removal to set up a board state more beneficial to your use of the weapon. In any event, we'll see one way or the other. I don't think it's crazy meta defining, but I don't think it's utter garbo either.
Yeah, you can play it in warrior, but I will stick with Brawl and Blood Razor is my weapon of choice against aggro.
This card is only good in very specific board states. Very narrow card. At 5 mana, that means its not playable and not worth taking a turn off.
Also, if it kills the minion, that minion cannot attack its neighbor. Nope. Not good at all.
If you have 2 large minions like the video showed. Sure it kills 1 of the Giants. You are still taking the 8 damage, then another 8 for the minion you didnt kill. Do you really think you are surviving long after that?

It attacks one of the adjacent minion so if we are talking about three and the weak one is not in the middle you just have to hit the giant on the border with only one adjacent minion. Weak positioning will be punished, and also the Warrior can use removal first to control the smashing.
However comparing this to Betrayal is inherently wrong. With Betrayal the attacked minion doesn't answer back. The mechanic here is quite different (maybe more similar to the Hunter Redirection than Betrayal) and I think the effectiveness need to be tested on the field to be truly evaluated.

The exchange smashing. In the video both giants die
I like Warrior and will try it out, but I am not sold. It will be ok in Arena. This might punish super greedy decks. I dunno. the 5 mana is really hurting its chances.
And you are right as well. This is Hunter's Misdirection Secret that you get to activate 3 times, not Betrayal. or the Rogue Secret that attacks its neighbor.
But the minion you attack does not die, and therefore a threat to you. You need an execute or Shield Slam to make a good turn of this. That means 6 mana or later. Not that good.

It's a 1/3 weapon. So for this to be a real issue both minions would have to be at one health (otherwise you could just attack the other side). If both minions are at one health then warrior has a number of tools to deal 1 damage to everything on the board.
The board states in which is good is not that specific. 2 minions is ideal, but works well enough with 3+ minions on board as well. Also it's not as if if you play brawl or bloodrazor you can't also play this. Actually this weapons can help in situations when brawl isn't enough due to deathrattle spawns.
I am confused by your last sentence. If I have two large minions like in the video, then I attack one giant, which then runs itself into the other giant, both die and I only take 8 damage. What other 8 damage are you talking about? Also I am a warrior, yeah taking 16 damage ain't no thang just as often as it is one.
Yeah, I misspoke regarding the Giants interaction. It's very good in that instance. Its not good against boards with varying stats of minions since they wont kill each other.
Nevermind what I said before. I am still reeling from the Druid Floop card.
This is worth trying out. But I think warrior is being hosed again.

Very possibly, still have a lot more cards to go though so don't lose complete hope. I will say this, this card in general is hard countered by the all the priest minions. Minions with Low attack high health hurt this card a lot. Which unfortunately includes some of the best cards in the game, like Void Daddies.
Well that's what I am hoping for. That hero card to really pull its weight. As we saw before in past expansions, the hero cards can pull a hero up and make it amazing. Warlock would not be as good without DK Guldan. Spell Hunter was elevated with their DK as well.
Let's hope this one does something crazy and powerful, so I could care less about the weapon.
At first when I read the card it sounded like a betrayal like effect, this is much better because the collision effect hurts both minions. Watching the video when both mountain giants smash each other to bits was awesome.

It will be good, but not great. It will force aggro opponents to only have 1 minion in play at a time until the weapon is broken.
Not terrible, but I've used Betrayal enough to know that it's usually not a game saver, so I don't think this will be either.
Edit - Just realized the minion only attacks one of its neighbors. Ok, it's worse than I thought, probably not playable.
Does it attack the minion or is the animation of the effect first. Makes a huge difference...
i'm kinda scared cause i hoped warrior will get some good cards this expansion but the 2 epics we got are both kinda bad://

The difference is this can kill both minions, where betrayal would only kill one.

Positioning cards all welcome as they add another element to the game. Is this good? Maybe. Seems good against some swarm decks. Will have to see
Losing hope that warrior will get anything truly good this time around...

look at the video where the card is revealed it's better than betrayal, since the trade also forces damage on the target.
Cool - love board positioning cards (even though I'm terrible at it!)
All warrior needs if for the Hero card to be good. Like - if Warrior had any real late game, it'd probably be the best deck in the format.

3 betrayals put together but you take damage equal to the minion doing the betraying
no thnks
Kobolds are almost as bad as goblins, they gotta die (⌐■_■)–︻╦╤─
