I really like the idea behind this, having a minion with lots of abilties that can also be used magnetically, though I feel like Zilliax was "balanced" before the final design.
Would have liked it better if it had finisher-potential with Windfury and maybe Charge instead of Rush. The Rush-part only matters if played standalone or alongside another minion anyway, and if you think about 6+ mana combos, it might as well have charge. I know that the developers don't like Charge anymore, and many seem to agree, but finishers are necessary, and when Leeroy is about the only good card in that regard for most classes, it just feeds into that whole HoF discussion. It wouldn't have hurt to introduce a mech-based alternative.
If you play a mech-deck, this likely won't be your win condition. And that's kind of wasted potential.
It might still be strong if Mech-decks can prove viable. Even as it is, I think it is a very good card. Just could be better.
5 mana 3/2 and you guys are calling this good ? It's ARFUS tier.
You're either bad at the game or clueless/new.
This card is SHIT
On its own yeah. But there are so many great Magnetic targets to make him so strong. You're obviously not going to play him on turn 5 when you've got nothing on the board already.

nice attitude, that's how you make an argument.
this card is by no means arfus tier, it can read: give a mech +3/+2 rush, life steal, divine shield, taunt if anything it's spikeridge steed tier. it gives you a "free trade" most of the time in mech decks it also gives a mech rush.
Besides Mech decks - This can be strong in Taunt / BIG druid (synergy with Oakheart and Hadronox), this can stop aggression, like stall against giants etc.
Wait a second.... is Shadowboxer + this a turn 7 2 card otk?
Oh boy.....
I think when Shadowboxer gets Lifesteal it does make an endless loop until you are 100% health
If your opponent is at 30 health (combined health for hero and minions) and you are below 15, you can use this + Shadowboxer + one of the 3 mana copy cards from priest to make an OTK. Sounds pretty good.
Am I missing something? How does that make an OTK? All I see is Shadowboxer dealing literally 1 damage.

Wont be an OTK, because you are healed up quicker than the enemy is killed and then you do not heal any more. But it would work like this: You fuse Zilliax with Shadowboxer and either attack a minion and get healed (because of rush and lifesteal) or heal yourself with hero power. Then Shadowboxer damages something with 1. Since shadowboxer has now lifesteal, that will heal you which again will cause shadowboxer to deal 1 damage.

Shadowboxer, when it has lifesteal, heals your hero when it deals damage, and it does damage whenever something is healed. Hence, it heals from the damage it dealt, it triggers itself again and does damage again. This goes on and on until your hero is at full health.
Wargear buffed via Val'anyr is a +9/+7 buff for 5 mana + attaching Val'Anyrs deathrattle to a minion which can be traded off or killed via Pyro/Equality to swing with Val'Anyr the same turn.
Zilliax + Val'anyr is a +7/+4 Divine shield, taunt, lifesteal, rush buff.....
as a Val'aynr paladin player I feel like I am dreaming.... <3
According to my value calculations, this card is good even without magnetic activated. And it can be recruited by Master Oakheart, give Corpsetaker taunt, divine shield and lifesteal abd can be drawn from Ashmore. This will definitely be one of the stronger cards in this set.
Comparable to, but not better than, Wickerflame Burnbristle, Corpsetaker, and Chillblade Champion. Overall, I think he's a bit too expensive and situational, although an attack+lifesteal buff might be useful in control mech decks, if those become a thing.
I don't say this is totally OP, but in Wild, the combos for this are endless. Glina Crowskin, Priest Shadowboxer-OTK (and mech priest), Mech Mage in General or the dark Horse Mech Shaman... all of them seems pretty good with this minion in their deck.
And people are also forgetting Spiteful Summoner: With Mechs and Magnetic you have minions in your deck that also works as spells. Minions that works as spell doesn't count as spell. With this, Spiteful Summoner might be back in the current meta too.
Corpsetaker Mech decks in wild are going to be really good. There are enough Mechs in wild to make a deck that can curve out nicely, and then Flying Machine is going to be a great Magnetic target.
My Galvadon vs V-07-TR-on deck is getting a BIG boost
it's okay. I really hope it doesn't see play because mechs were super un-fun to play against in the past. The lifesteal on it is completely useless because health gain isn't important in an aggressive tempo deck which mech decks are, but the divine shield and +3 is really good. You gotta ask yourself, would odd paladin run a card like this if it was just "5 mana: give a minion +3 +2 and divine shield rush.
I doubt mech decks will be THAT great in the meta though because taunt druid and cube-warlock are still very popular and both decks hard counter any deck that focuses on playing minions on the board every turn.

What would happen if Master Oakheart recruit 3 mechs with magnetic? Will they fuse together?

also it activates corpsetaker almost by itself.
Nope. While Magnetic isn't a battle cry it's an effect that will only work when a card with magnetic is played from hand.
Besides Mech decks - This can be strong in Taunt / BIG druid (synergy with Oakheart and Hadronox), this can stop aggression, like stall against giants etc.
Cool design, probably never going to see play, jusy like the other Rush cards.
Meh, underwhelming if you ask me. If mocha become a thing again to might see play. Otherwise this to much mana with nowhere near enough impact.

It is similar to the old "synergy" of Auchenai Soulpriest and mistress of pain, just reverse.
Edit: I just realized that they changed the text on mistress of pain to just "lifesteal". The infinite suicide damage can't happen any more.
Shadowboxer, when it has lifesteal, heals your hero when it deals damage, and it does damage whenever something is healed. Hence, it heals from the damage it dealt, it triggers itself again and does damage again. This goes on and on until your hero is at full health.
Ahh I see now. Thanks heaps, guys.
Val'anyr + magnetic mechs looks insane!

Don't forget about Unpowered Steambot. It turns out that its name was a reference to the as-yet unannounced Magnetic ability of The Boomsday Project
LOL i totally forgot you will discover this from Stonehill Defender.
Without Mechs it’s more on the Ghostly Charger Level tho. Not great but there are worse Taunts out there.
In Standard: Meh to ok
In Wild: ZOMG!!!!!!
