I don't think it's very good unless a deck pops up that is built entirely around mech synergy. Even then, it's probably not great. Seems like a strictly worse Druid of the Swarm unless you're relying on the mech tag.
Agree with you, this card is only good in mech decks if you compare it with druid of the swarm.
This card gives me terrible flashbacks of auto include cards.... ugh. I hate this card. Normally I don't agree with blizz being out of ideas but it sure looks like it when they just dump a ton of stats on a card. At least it's a good way to counter dude pally.

Argent Squire is a strictly worse Righteous Protector. That doesn't stop every aggro and zoo deck from running it (and Paladins from running both!). You don't need Mechs to make this guy work. It's a powerful, sticky statline, perfect for Abusive Sergeant and Blessing of Kings.
woah, a lot of stats for 2 mana, this is surely going to be an auto-include in some sort of magnetic deck, may well see play in non-mech decks just because of its stats. lol

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
it's a 2 mana with 6 stats. maybe Priest can have fun with it in a magnetic. Regardless the name basically implies you are supposed to tack on things to this little guy, and have a big health stat isn't a terrible place to start. The real question is whether or not there a finish worthwhile enough to run a vanilla 1/5 mech for 2.
This card has potential as a target for buffs due to the lack of attack power and relatively high health.
however this card is still terrible as if it is common in the meta it is easily countered via silence or just being killed as a 1/5.
made me wonder now, can magnetics be silenced or is it like a permanent effect on the minion?
I would hope not. If Blizz can do it logistically, it would be great if the fused mechs were treated like Hunter's stitched beasts-so they could have their texts silenced, but would keep the combined stats if silenced
That card art with those stats?! Do Blizzard not give a shit or what? T5 meeting - "That looks like a '1 dmg arm' to me" "Yeah I agree, but surely a 5 health body"...
Every deck that uses snowballing cards will use this, its great with fungalmancer, coldblood, cobalt scalebane, acherus veteran, defender of argus, keleseth, etc. Not to mention that this will be a staple in every mech deck that focuses on tempo. I voted metadefining.
Keleseth? Sure...
This TWO MANAS minion will work great with him. :P
I know this is a reference to Dire Mole, but now I got the idea of a mech version of Dire Frenzy in my head. And I want it. Shuffling fused mechs into my deck sounds awesome.
Have people forgotten about Divine Spirit + Inner Fire? This seems super powerful in priest and in any mech deck that relies on magnetic as it's cheap, and difficult to kill. Also pretty decent if Paladin uses Call to Arms in the mech deck they are getting.
Mecha Mage is going to be coming back with a vengeance in Wild. This is an auto-include, because a Mechwarper essentially makes this a 1-drop and two of them make this a 0-drop, and now we have to deal with the fact that the Mechwarpers could be buffed so they're harder to remove. Depending on what Magnetic cards are introduced aside from the ones we already have seen, Mech Mage is essentially going to be an easy Tier 1 deck in Wild.
I would not count on it. It is a good setup for Tinkertown Technician, but other classed excel at buffing minios, which this card invites to. Snowchugger and Mad Scientist into Explosive Runes are damn strong 2-drops as well, but they are still not strong enough to save mech mage from being a dated archetype, victim of power creep.

Hmmmmm...If you fuse a Nightmare Amalgam, will that minion be considered a beast and mech? If so, Dire Frenzy can make some pretty insane beast-mechs.
It keeps all of it's tags. The minion on board is the "base". So every other fused magnetic minion will work as a buff. So this should 100% work and that is 100% scary as shit. I am fucking excited about this.

Maybe... nah nah nah nah
Step aside dragons, inner fire combo priest might take the mech package instead!
Jk, but one can always hope.

I exist, I think.

Haha, my bad :)
Nightmare Amalgam says hi

6 stats for 2 mana. Great card, will see a lot of play in arena, like the druid 1/5 for 2 mana that can also be 1/2 poisonous

I am sure there will be other good mechs, though!

This combo'd with Iron Sensei by Turn 3 is just ridiculous

aggro mech druid (wild)? mech tempo warrior with 3/3 demon? this card is rly good but... scorp-o-matic likes it
I have a feeling this will be a staple in every Magnetic deck. Sure a 1/5 isn't that scary but even one magnetize turns this into a headache
Stats for days. This guy is going to be annoying as hell.
