So with legendary spells coming into play (even though we only know what one of them is, currently) there are some cards in the current rotation that might just become that much better. I'll list the one's I can think of and briefly explain.
Tortollan Primalist expensive, but you can go fishing for a second legendary spell. Depending on which classes get spells that are okay with random targets, this could be great on turn 8
Chittering Tunneler I really do think this is going to pop up in Warlock decks next meta. Good body for turn 3 and a chance to fish out another legendary spell.
Bloodbloom VERY dependent on what lock gets as its legendary spell, but this could be bonkers as an early game cast.
Primordial Glyph amazing card is going to just get better now...
Shadow Visions BECAUSE this card exist, I fully expect the priest legendary spell to suck. But we are talking about blizzard so It's going to be good?
Lilian Voss In a deck built for it, I think Lilian will pull a good number of Legendary spells for you.
Dead Man's Hand Will the warrior legendary spell be what really gets the Dead Man's Infinite cycle deck to tier 1?
The Runespear I am SOOOOO happy I didn't DE this card like many of you did...
Grand Archivist It's going to be fun to see which class wins the lotto for legendary spell that works with this card.
I agree that a lot of these have potential to be quite strong, though I think Deck of Wonders actually took a nerf- the one legendary spell that we've seen would be absolutely devastating if you get that off of one of your scrolls.
Also, that's a good point about Shadow Visions... I'm hoping for not-broken Priest and Mage legendary spells, because those are the classes who are most likely to be able to generate additional copies, which could be very frustrating to play against.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
You're definitely overestimating the legendary spells. Just keep in mind that Ultimate Infestation exists (among other OP spells) and druids aren't exactly running Tortollan Primalist to fish for more of them. OP win cons like Death knights also exist and priests aren't running Chameleos for the high roll of copying one
Also, this is speculation but it seems like "sacrifice" or "big downsides" for power is mini-theme going in this expansion, based on the rogue legendary spell and what the devs told us about "project" cards. It might be the case that you really don't want to be casting these at random times without control over them
And another thing, there's no correlation between the legendary rarity and cards being powerful. Legendary just means it will have very unique effects; it won't mean it'll be good. Otherwise we'd all be running Duskfallen Aviana and Lorewalker Cho over scrub f2p cards like Ironwood Golem, Fungalmancer and Mana Wyrm to name a few

I tried putting this in Rogue to try to get another Assassinate or two and it was way too inconsistent. There are too many spells in most of the classes that will just be too dangerous to play randomly, except for maybe Priest, Shaman and Hunter. Stealing, board clears and secrets or already random cards won't be negatively affected by the Primalist's battlecry.
Chittering Tunneler I really do think this is going to pop up in Warlock decks next meta. Good body for turn 3 and a chance to fish out another legendary spell.
If the Warlock legendary spell is expensive (7+ mana) then I expect no one to play Tunneler unless it can fit into odd Warlock so the Hero Power doesn't damage them all the time.
Bloodbloom VERY dependent on what lock gets as its legendary spell, but this could be bonkers as an early game cast.
I kinda hope you're right because I saved both copies I opened after I found out how broken it was with Kara Kazham! but I expect it to be a value centered card instead.
Primordial Glyph amazing card is going to just get better now...
I think Mage has too many spells to hope Glyph gets better, plus Mage will probably also see even more spells with the full release. It'd be nice to get lucky sometimes, but consistency is key in Hearthstone's world of RNG.
Shadow Visions BECAUSE this card exist, I fully expect the priest legendary spell to suck. But we are talking about blizzard so It's going to be good?
I am really worried about this as well, even Lyra could get just that little bit better as she generally creates 2 or more spells herself.
Lilian Voss In a deck built for it, I think Lilian will pull a good number of Legendary spells for you.
I don't see what you're talking about, you're only ever playing against one class so you will have a 1 in however many spells that class has chance in getting a copy of their legendary spell. I also wouldn't build your deck around her as you will face more than one class so you cant even hope to get one specific spell across any of your games.
Dead Man's Hand Will the warrior legendary spell be what really gets the Dead Man's Infinite cycle deck to tier 1?
If warrior could freaking survive or do things big enough to matter against Druids and Priests I can see Control or Quest Warrior shooting up to teir 2 or even 1, but I think it will hugely depend on the new Hero their getting rather than the spell.
The Runespear I am SOOOOO happy I didn't DE this card like many of you did...
I was about to mention consistency again, but you could make it a decent end game card even without whatever legendary spell Shaman may get, and especially with Shaman's full spell roster, you may want to throw Mr. Greenskin in the deck to get the mostest value out of your meme spear. I'd love to see it actually :D
Grand Archivist It's going to be fun to see which class wins the lotto for legendary spell that works with this card.
I can totally see this coming back in a deck or two, it does cost 8 mana though so I'm not terribly worried.
With the massive amount of random spells generated, I think you could get the legendary Hunter spell often enough to matter, so I'm interested to see if spell hunter will be getting any additional support.
Spiteful Summoner Psh, your nerf was not enough! Mwahahahah (all depends on if any class gets a 10 cast legendary spell.
I honestly expected Spiteful girl to come back eventually, and it's probably now or never so If she makes it, then I'll be glad I kept mine, if not, oh well, I missed the bonus disenchant dust when she got nerfed.
Hagatha the Witch this card will generate soooo many legendary spells for you. Can't wait.
I wonder if it will make problems getting cards out of your hand if she generates too many expensive and Overload spells . . .
Witch's Cauldron so ANYONE can have the shaman legendary spell... smh
I made a Mage quest deck that spammed little minions and Cauldrons to try to get a Timewarp and Bloodlust turn and I hardly got a Bloodlust or even a Lava Burst. I don't see this as an issue.
I think the card itself is too weak to play for a chanceat a good spell. I'll pass unless it really improves a solid Shaman deck.
Rebuke MIGHT actually see play depending on the meta.
It's nice to have in some cases, but it does take a slot (or two) and if you're playing an aggro deck (usually why you don't want your opponent casting spells) then you'd almost always draw a better card than Rebuke.
I never played with him yet, but I think the Priest decks can deal without him unless your opponent would have an answer to something that Priests don't have or something random like that.
Kobold Monk Just encase there is a target player legendary spell... hmmmm
You could even play this a little now since there's a few Malygos Druids running around.
If the first legendary spell is any indication, these won't necessarily be spells you'll want to play more than once. For example, there's not really much benefit to drawing your deck multiple times. What random spell generation does give you is the ability to get the spell in your hand earlier, which could be pretty good, depending on circumstance.
Based on the one legendary spell we’ve seen I don’t think any of these cards are really getting boosted. The rogue spell needs a deck built around it to be good. Just casting it mid game will burn most of your deck and get you into fatigue problems.
Peter Whalen said in a TAC episode that Unpowered Steambot was a card that might become good/very good in the future. This was before TBP was announced. Clearly it’s a good magnetic target!

Witch's Apprentice shot in the dark

Chameleos gets even better
Kobold Monk Just encase there is a target player legendary spell... hmmmm
Honorable Mentions:
Crystalline Oracle, Devour Mind, Deck of Wonders, Lesser Ruby Spellstone, Psionic Probe, Shifting Scroll, Blink Fox, Pick Pocket, Lorewalker Cho and any other cards that 'steal' cards/spell from the other players deck.
I know there is A LOT of what ifs and maybes but I thought it might be fun to start thinking of crazy combo's before we even see the new spells.
Take a drink every time you read the phrase "legendary spell".

Damn, I have to pee now. :P
You have a point here, this card make the legendary spell scary, I hope the card be something niche like the rogue one.
Are we sure every class is getting one?
Hasn't been specified yet.
I'm pretty sure them mentioned it in the first reveal video.
It is too soon for a thread like this...
(sorry, couldn't resist :P)
I'm pretty sure the Hunter spell will have a resurrect effect on beasts, so DK Rexxar charge minions will be annoying
but which class will get the legendary spell to cure alcohol poison? monkaS

Nope.

Too soon to tell.
I think Nightmare Amalgam will see a lot of play.

"Everyone! Get in here!"
New Mage legendary spell:
Secret: When your hero takes fatal damage, prevent it and become Immune this turn.
Meat Wagon is going to get A LOT better with magnetic.
