Doesn't seem useful as of now, but there could be a whole new archetype for mech that makes use of this.
Would consider it in Murloc Mage though. Murlocs are usually cheap and you want to play as many of them a turn as possible, and there's also the synergy with Arugal or even Dollmaster Dorian.
mage probably has a legendary spell which does some reverse rock delar shenanigans where if you only have mins in your deck do x could work if you just only use 2 books
ANY and I mean ANY card with infinite card draw potential got a huge chance to see play, I saw once firebat trying to assemble a miracle mage, it was quite cool TBH (it was last year though) with cheap spells and mana wyrms with gadgetzan.. the deck can be made.. is it good.. dunno.. MAYBE(?) (probably not) is it fun? yes.
How could anyone call this bad or mediocre? If you draw 1 card with her its a better Gnomish Inventor for 1 less mana (she will still have the continous effect so the opponent should remove her. If you draw 2 cards with her, its like Arcane Intellect that summons you a 2/4 with a continous ability. So its very easy to make it a MUCH better card than another card that you have actually put in your aggro deck.
You don't really understand how this game works. Gnomish Inventor is a 4 mana 2/4 that guarantees you a draw. This card is a 3 mana 2/4 that doesn't guarantee you a draw and is a weak turn 3 play. It is also quite situational, forcing you to play not the way you might want, to get value out of it.
This + Fire Fly = 5 mana, 4/8 stats, draw 2 (or 1 depending on where the fire fly was in your hand). Maybe that's something?
Strike all of that, I think the Fire Elemental would be added, and then the card will be drawn.
I do think Kaladin has a point in that this competes with Specters and Aluneth, and even AI. It's a fine card, it just faces strong competition from more direct sources of card draw.
So Brann was bad because you had to wait for a good battlecry before you could play it or because it was a weak turn 3 play? You obviously play it when you can guarantee the draw then hope for a cheap topdeck, which is quite likely in a low-curve deck like aggro mage.
Brann was unique in a way that this card isn't. Card draw is plentiful in Mage these days. If this was in something like Shaman, I'd be a lot more excited.
...this probably sees play in a Reno deck in Wild though.
I consider this too good in quest mage (if it's going to work this time, that is) because with the ability to generate non-deck cards (which happen to be your right-most side card as well) you can make more draw and thus gather the combo cards faster.
Note that echo cards work as well since echoed cards are always at the right-most side of your hand and it happens in this order : Spell is cast, Luna draws a card, then echoed spell returns to the hand at the right-most side

Brann was only good because of the value of other cheap battlecries, mainly Kazakus and things that accelerated the Jade Golem count. It was very rarely played on turn 3. His value was otherwise guaranteed and consistent.
I suppose the value of this card would be more late game when you need to cycle to find a specific card.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.

Incoming: Mage's legendary spell is a cheap Echo card.

I don't know what happened, saw a lot of people talking about cheap spells and then unconsciously wrote spell instead of card. Guess I should take some rest or something
Won't work well with echo, there are no good echo cards to combo it with

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
If we get spare parts back. This would have synergy with them too. Especially stealth.
1 star, won't see play.
specters and aluneth are undebatably better.

Well, future sight is my favourite MTG card, so I'll probably like playing with this as well.
THIS is the random golden legendary most people will get for sure. Team 5, you heard me.

4-mana 2/4 draw a card.

I would compare her toLyra the Sunshard with the hand size generation.. mage also got discounts via Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Could also be a card in aggro mage to draw a few cards, or in general as card draw.
also:*Obvious remark about it being an odd card*
Could be used in elemental mage too
Let's try and make it more than a meme deck

It's not stellar, but it's not bad for sure. This looks like support for the 'draw a card' mage archetype from Witchwood.

Seems pretty bad, unfortunately.
Release the Kraken!
What if she is the right most card?
Yawn... sure it’s playable, but.... yawn... kinda boring.
