Hi everyone! I was just wondering what people's thoughts and experiences have been with Big Game Hunter as a tech card in the current meta. I've been considering running one in my Big Spell Mage as an additional removal since I don't have Voodoo Doll, but I'm guessing there might be some decks that could use it as well, or better. Obviously the biggest target (in multiple ways) would be Tyrantus but there are others as well that are decently common (Giants, The Lich King, Azari, the Devourer in bad situations, Alexstrasza, Baku the Mooneater, the occasional big dinos). How good overall do you guys think Big Game Hunter is right now and what decks do you think he would be best in?
It will sit in your hand 95% of the time, waiting for the perfect moment which will likely never come. Also, Spiteful nerf means you’ll hardly see Tyrantus again.

Have you seen the win percentages? Spiteful is still doing well. We will still be seeing spiteful druid for a while
I've been using Big Game Hunter for like a month or more now lol. It's very good against spiteful decks, kills The Lich King and Sea Giant (both of which are quite prominent thanks to even shaman). Even good against the handlock giant of course.
I'm surprised no one else has been using it tbh =/. Honestly though, Voodoo Doll would still be a hundred times better in a big spell mage deck.

I've played some spiteful decks myself (if you can't beat em, join em lol), I still dabble in tempo rogue, zoolock.
He fits in basically any tempo/midrange deck I think. Heavy control decks usually have other, more efficient ways of dealing with big threats I'd think (Polymorph, Siphon Soul, Execute to name a few).

I tried running BGH in my spiteful druid and took it out a few games later, it was a dead card most of the time, just too slow.
