Slowing down Cubelock by 1 turn is very impactful. Also, limiting their heal with the Pact nerf will be significant. Decent nerfs all around, although I'm kinda sad the DK didn't get touched at all. Still a bonkers card against other control decks.
IDK how Voidcaller survived without nerf or people asking for it, I guess during those times there were batshit a lot of broken cards, so no one cared. Lackey in reality is a really weak card, would not see any play if not Voidlord, but thanks to Voidlord and Dark Pact it sees play, now it got even worse.
So in addition to everything else, this means certain one turn combos aren't available anymore (Lackey + Dark Pact + Coin + Cube, for example). How will this change things?

Was this a good combo? No cubelock player wants to have the cube alive at the end of his turn. This change is completly useless for cubelock. It only affects control warlock. Also i dont get why warlock deserved two nerfs and more powerful decks got only one. Odd pala received even a boost.
Odd Paladin was unaffected by the CTA change.
And my point wasn't that it was a good combo, but that when you change a card from 5 to 6 mana, you no longer can play another 5-cost card in the same turn on 10 mana, so there are potentially some combos that aren't possible anymore.
Cubelock got hit, it's still a good deck, and the deck didn't got destroyed.. it's still VERY playable just other decks got better chances against cubelocka dn control lock.
Discuss!
Good nerf; I guess that Control Warlock will have to find another anti-aggro tool instead of cheating out a 'Lord in turn 6
Nice
Nice nerf in general
glad that i have a golden version
I knew this f*cker will get hit, imho he will still be problematic at least in wild.
Yeah, still very good, but it's now a fair card versus a stupidly degenerate enabler. It will still get used.
Fair Enough

This is basically what should have happened. I still kind of wish Dark Pact was nerfed to 2 mana.
Acceptable

Not enough to me but acceptable.

An extra turn vs cubelock is huge! This is a fantastic nerf. Good job, can't want to see it go live
