Uth: no way. Buzzard: no way. Auctioneer: no way. Frost nova: no. Cone of cold: maybe. Blizzard: no. Defender of Argus: no. Argent commander: maybe (no for arena?) Pyroblast: no. Novice engineer: maybe.
I would like to know where bribes can be paid to affect a novice engineer and gadgetzan unnerf.
Seriously though, I think a 6 mana stormwind champ would be pretty decent in constructed, although broken in arena. I'd like to see the starving buzzard nerf toned down as well.
Undertaker should totes be unnerfed so that he can bring balance back to the force since secretkeeper has torn everything up.
No they are not. Nat pagle being strictly better than mana tide totem would suck, not to mention mana tide is a class card. Class cards should be better, not legendaries.
Buzzard nerf should be looked at to make it playable (not it's former state), Warsong nerf should be looked at to make it playable (not it's former state). Stormwind, Dalaran Mage and mana wraith can have their nerfs reverted. Illidan should be reworked somehow.
I think it would be nice to remove the nerfs from some old ones. The game has progressed a lot since the beginning and I don't think they would change the meta a lot if any. It would still be nice to buff some 'bad' cards to a 'playable' state.
They have stated that they would rather make new cards (see Ice Rager and Evil Heckler) than buffing old ones for plenty of reasons. The best one being that the bad cards of the free set are teaching new players important lessons, like that cards with unpropotional attack/health are horrible tempo cards (Magma Rager and Mogu'shan Warden.)
However, it makes even more sense for a business point of view...
Ice rager and evil heckler teach nothing except prepare for more cards to be strictly power creeped. It has no benefit for players they just feel ripped off
The old cards, and not changing them is the lesson to be learned. The fact that the new ones are still not being amazing also teaches something, and it is the blizzard way of buffing old cards.
The rip-off feeling is more evident comparing war golem and Stormwind Champion to dr. Boom...
IMO: I would rather the balance team focus on future cards rather than going back to look at old ones.
I started my EU account recently(which means no card collection) and the basic cards are not that bad even now. Sure, I can't climb past rank 11 but I really enjoy new expansions, it is a card game after all and that's how things go. Sure, it's a digital card game and they could take the game in many different directions, but I'm still okay with the few nerfed cards that would prevent new cards from being printed.

Its not power creep if the cards that they're better than are already so bad they would never see play.
Booty Bay Bodyguard and Magma Rager basically don't even exist because of how bad they are. They have no impact on Hearthstone other than some niche situations with Unstable Portal. That would be like calling power creep if they had just buffed the originals. They're still not good enough to see play and Evil Heckler and Ice Rager still have basically have no impact on the game.
If I was in charge sure, I'd make all the basic cards like Stormwind/Dalaran Mage/etc revert back to their original state. Would make f2p decks a bit more competitive, though the changes would have a huge impact on Arena. When considering buffs/nerfs you have to look at it from a constructed and an arena perspective.

I always thought they blew it with the Nat nerf. Their reasoning was that he was too likely to draw a card and was a mandatory include and even worse a mandatory mulligan. Instead of moving the draw to the beginning of the turn which renders it useless, they could have just lowered the percentage to bring the inclusion rate in line with game play objectives - say 35% chance of draw. Now the card is still useful, just not mandatory. On a side note, they have done a great job of making 'unplayable' stuff pop out of portals and shredders so it still sees some play.

Take a look at Joust. Joust is under 50% at, thanks to that, it's pretty much hated unless the card has insane other features. A 2 drop that, most times, does nothing is still worthless. Giving it a 1 in 3 chance of being crazy useful is not a good card to have competitively. The only reason, ONLY REASON why a Nat unnerf would work now is because he'd be VERY easy to punish in the current faster and more removal filled meta. Denerf nat nowadays would be as bad as nerf Nat is. He's just one of those cards that really can't be balanced naturally and, thus, is best as he is: a card you'd be ok to see as a Token but not usable as is.
I don't know. Of the nerfs I know now, the original cards either would have no real use or would be too strong. I could be wrong though: i nkow I missed a few of them. There's also the consideration that a buff would have to be tested in house and, thus, take up time from the group that normally tests new cards, and I don't want that slown down for a buff that won't matter.
I think nat pagle and tinkmaster wouldn't be broken at all in today's meta, mainly cause it is so fast. There is no rag to morph and drawing cards is pretty bad when your opponent already has a web spinner and knife juggler on board. Would love to see them back to their orginal state

Dalaran Mage shouldn't have been changed since the start. It was always fine. Soot Spewer doesn't see play.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I miss the original Shatered Sun Cleric, the game is so starved for good, neutral 1 drops.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Proud creater of 'hand' rogue
Yeah, if you think about it Big Game Hunter is probably better than Tinkmaster Overspark now in the Dr. Boom era.
