Insane in wild. If your opponent has a lot of stuff on the board, you can play this then Dirty Rat and highroll a Doomsayer to clear your opponent’s board.
Surely this could have been a 1 mana 1/2. Would have boosted the ability of any and every odd deck to be able to play a tempo style of game by enabling them to curve from turn 1 to turn 2 if they wanted to.
Spellslinger was a good card, this is less because you know what card cost they/you are getting. I still like it alot, neutral will ensure we will see it in arena often
I think this card was designed for Odd decks. The idea is since you don't have any 2 or 4 cost minions, you can play this, and then play your 2-drop and use your upgraded hero power on the following turn. It makes the curve a little less awkward for these decks and has good stats for constructed.
Think about it pls... spellslinger was good because mage had many effects that triggering at spell cast
now shaman has synergy when minion played
also still good with agro decks since this is 3/4 wich is good stats and draw a card... you gonna play that card BEFORE your enemy
Actually I gonna be crazy and call this "meta defining" and gonna see almost every agro deck and some shaman decks . this card is good! not so wonderful in arena but still a good topdeck because... at 10 mana if you draw you gonna play this and 2 mana minion together while enemy has to wait his turn. yet it is gonna be terrible at arena to play on curve because you giving more options to enemy
I like this stuff, maybe there are finally enough of these type of minions in wild to abuse the mill and play this kind of minion without the downside.
Interesting that no one plays them in constructed. Personally I prefer to run those guys in my odd rogue deck over blink foxes. Both fox and mystic give you a card, which is good for a deck with very limited recources, but card from mystic appears to be playeable more often, because it is always cheap, even if it's rarely impactful. Main reason is his stats tho - 1 extra hp allows mystic to survive hellfires, duskbreakers, sometimes defiles or trades, really, there is a big difference between 3/3 and 3/4. And random 2 drop my opponent recieves is the last thing I should worry about - most decks right now have unlimited recources anyway, if I am against some kind of control/combo, usually they don't even have time to play it

Carefull playing this vs a tempo deck. Keleseth
nice card for arena
Pack filler. Perhaps useful for a Wild Coldlight deck to burn an extra card, but that's it.

But why?

Cool arena card, not good enough for constructed.

ok stats, but I don't like the idea of giving my opponent a random 2 drop as there's some decent stuff to be given from it.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.

Maybe Tess Greymane decks....

Ofc, sucks against aggro.
In fact it has amazing tempo in odd decks
turn 2 HP
Turn 3 this
Turn 4 HP + 2 mana
