Perhaps, it's even good enough to revive Keleseth Rogue on its own.
That's what I was going to say, it can be very good in Keleseth Rogue, as most of the time you will hero power in turn 2 if you haven't got Keleseth or are on the coin.
Jesus, this in dragon priest in Wild. Play this on turn 4+ with potion of madness in hand for free removal of anything (excluding taunt + divine shield) on their side of the board.
In standard, this is an extremely powerful card in the right decks. It's best in rogue, paladin, and to a lesser extent in mage.
Rogue plays weapon on 2 and this on 3 for a free 3 mana 5/4. That's crazy tempo.
Tempo dragon paladin's dream curve will look something like this: turn 1 Lost in the Jungle, turn 2 Cathedral Gargoyle, turn 3 Marsh Drake and trade a 1/1 into the poisonous. That's 8/7 of stats on turn 3 with partial divine shield and taunt protecting the big minion. That's ridiculous.
Mage doesn't really want to be playing this on turn 7 as a 5/4 plus a ping. However tempo elemental mage will be looking to play Fire Fly on 1 and perhaps 2 and so will probably have a token to clear the poisonous. Does tempo elemental mage want to be playing a dragon? Possibly not. However this opens up the possibility of a no-spell, elemental/dragon hybrid mage that utilises Nightmare Amalgam to synergise with both tribes.
This card has huge potential and imo even has a chance at being meta-defining.
Amazing on Rogue and Zoolock, good on Zoo Mage and on Wild Priest. The fact that you get a 4 mana minion on turn 3 with very minimal drawdack (if you trade well enough or have the dagger) is pretty insane. It's not only even better because it's not a 4/5. On the other hand, playing it on Turn 6 onward is somewhat bad, since you are wasting resources to kill a target you created.
It will probably see play on aggro decks, and on those it will shine.
Why would Rogue play this? Just because they can? They still need to keep the dagger equipped, just to get a conditional pile of stats... maybe in Arena, but in Constructed I can't see a deck where it would be worth it.
Priest, on the other hand, has tons of dragon synergies. Twilight Whelp, Wyrmrest Agent, This + Coin to kill an enemy minion seems strong.
I believe rogue is dead in Standard.
If for a miracle odd rogue can be a tier 4 deck, you hero power in turn 2 kill a 2 health minion and play this in turn 3.
It is not conditional, it is 5/4 for 3 manas.
Odd rogue sounds interesting. What about beast mage? Murloc priest maybe?

Well, I start saying rogue is dead in Standard, can't get worse than that...
In rogue you can kind of read the text as, "Battlecry: Deal 2 damage to your hero." That is pretty nice for a 5/4 on 3. Good card, much better than the 4/4 freeze all your minions, but only in rogue.
Doubt it. Zoolock decks could easily take out the Poisonous token with Argent Squire and use Mortal Coil on the token for card advantage. Mage can play this turn 5 and ping the token. I see a ton of potential for this in Zoo decks.
Is pretty good in any token deck, good in decks that run any sort of attacking weapon (Twig of the World Tree even, but Hunters with Candleshot, Rogues, Paladins, Warriors).
The fact that this is a consistent 2/1 and it's ALWAYS a 2/1 and it's JUST a 2/1 makes this card so much better than the Ettin or Cornered Sentry. It's not dependent on you having an AoE or using an AoE, or having a board (you only need one 1/1 that can attack) and it means your hero equipped with a weapon can trade with the dragonstalker.
I think this is actually quite solid in a multitude of decks.
ITT Only Rogue can ping for 1 damage and 5/4s are only good on turn 3.
As if you wouldn't play two of these on turn 8 alongside Spirit Lash, or IDK have a 1/1 on board to trade into the 2/1s.

Jungle Giants
I know, it will be rotated but..
Potion of Madness
Erm.. Amazing for quest Druid

Good thing Potion of Madness rotates. Turn 4 play this + madness, kill anything your opponent has.
It's okay in classes with access to a ping, nothing really special about it, bad arena card most of the time since you can't play it on three.
curvestone for dragon paladin.
Good in rogue and in hunter (Candleshot)

good stats for the mana cost and a solid card as long as you can kill off the 2/1 you summon for your opponent the same turn, then you're golden.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
gonna play it in dragon hunter with candle shot

Pinging it in mage can be a worst-case scenario if you need something to play on turn 5 and have nothing else.
Or in an elemental mage you could use a stray fire fly to trade with it.
This is nuts with priest in wild. Potion of Madness anyone?
