This isn't that bad a card for Paladin. Turn 1, drop this. Turn 2, Dire Wolf Alpha? Dark Conviction? Or it's just ignored until you can put a BOK or other buff on it. It dies, you get a dragon. Of course, some dragons suck. Some will be good. Either way, it helps fill your hand.
Depends on what other good 1 or 2 drop minions exist after the full reveal...
Average dragon is pretty heavy. This thing gets pulled by Call to Arms and punishes your opponent for playing a board clear. You already run Dire Wolf Alpha because of CtA, so this is basically a way to put more weight in your deck as midrange paladin. With this in mind, is it good enough? Maaaaybe? In that kind of deck you won't be playing Cathedral Gargoyle, so you're playing the egg just to play it, but who knows.
I think this card is just bad, I can't see it working in any deck, I read someone say it's a replacement for Netherspite Historian, which is actually hilarious. This is an egg, that has such a poor benefit. In a deck with Lady in White, this card would still be absolute garbage. It won't see play, it can't, not even in arena.
Forgetting about the power level of the card I just wanna say how bad the design on this card is talking about flavour? why isn't the minion on the board? why does it go into my hand? why does it work completely different from every other egg, runic egg was better desgined than this. Now I'll look at the stats... well this card seems awful with potential to absurd highroll which makes it a worse card design on power level, it's also stupid in arena but hey no1 know wtf is going on in arena with microadjusts so fuck it
BTW the art is also bad since it could be any dragon, i don't want to see part of the dragon on the card it ruins the surprise, it's a red dragon so it's probably always alex other dragons ruin the flavour

ye I don't think this is all that good tbh, most of the time your opponent will just ignore it, unless you plan on playing it in a deck with buffs so you can kill it off yourself, other than that probs won't be used, unless a decent egg deck in wild shines through. lol

Pathetically weak. Random is a ton weaker than draw a card, and it's harder to kill than Runic Egg.
Runic Egg better and cycling out.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
Egg based decks are going to find a lot of uses for this card, including Egg Druid, which usually runs out of steam late game

Runic Egg barely saw play and that one actually drew a card. Random dragons are pointless, especially when we got so many high-cost ones.
I tried having fun once. It was awful.
wut is this ?

Meant for dragon hunter as Netherspite replacement
More eggs for my wild egglock deck <3
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
seems fine if you wanna buff stuff.. but I don't see this card seeing play.. since Runic Egg saw no play. and is a similar card.

Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
another bad egg, serious tempo loss for a below average result.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
gonna play this in dragon deathrattle hunter just for the meme, otherwise it's not that great.
This egg is really bad. No instant value from deathrattle. Why not use dragon e.g. Nightmare Amalgam in favor of this egg?
It would be good if at least have: "Add a random dragon to your hand. It costs (1) less."
Too slow. Old eggs were great because they placed a minion on board, and you knew exactly what minion + gave AoE protection. This gives none of those.
