Jk, although I must say, it is nice that they are still designing cards with quests in mind, as can be seen with some of the hunter and rogue cards. Then again, echo single handedly makes it easier to complete quests, so it may not be intentional.
Even considering the synergy between Hagatha the Witch, Unite the Murlocs and this card I doubt the deck could be compared to Murloc Paladin in terms of power. Shaman doesn't have the refill of Call to Arms or card draw of Divine Favor. And many of the Shaman spells are either situational or generally weak, but let's see. For sure I will try it out in my Quest Shaman.
Good for quest now that Call in the Finishers is out. Maybe it makes control/midrange Quest shammy possible. Two of these can technically complete the quest by itself, although that might just be too awkward to pull off
If 4 mana summon 4 murlocs didn't enable Quest Shaman, this won't either. Comboes decently with Hagatha, but can you really spend your whole turn 10 generating spells and putting 2/2s on the board? I don't think so.
A new version of Call in the Finishers. The ability to control how many Murlocs get summoned makes this card more flexible. The fact that the Murlocs are not 1-health minions means they are less likely to get wiped out by an area effect next turn, so the card is safer.
But considering that Shamans already had a similar card, and are receiving no other Murlocs this expansion, this card alone does not help much in making Murloc Shaman a thing, though I do think we are one step closer now.
It does have synergy with Hagatha, though, and can generate lots of spells, though it wouldn't have much use until she gets played.
This card scares me in Wild. The amount of reload between Ghost Light Angler, Neptulon, Call in the Finishers, and completing the Quest is insane. A lot of classes will find it hard to keep up and will not have enough removal.
Few more value generating murloc cards for Shaman in the next set(s) and midrange quest shaman will be a thing. At least in wild. But it will be a midrange deck, I don't believe in aggro deck that wastes 1st turn AND a card.
