Once again I feel this card walks the line between Playable and Very Good. A 3 mana 2/5 is already a solid stat-line so even without the effect, it's a respectable 3 drop. If people can reliably get it's attack to 5, the lifesteal and taunt makes this quite powerful. Even with temporary buffs like Abusive Sergeant, if it bumps it up to 5+ just for the one turn, that 5+ points of lifesteal can really make a difference.
Unfortunately, I'm unsure if there will be enough support for the card to warrant running it in constructed (yet) and as such, I'm going to vote playable for now.
This card seems amazing, it’s pretty easy to buff attack by +1, a lot of people saying oh it’s good for handbuff (which is rotating out) but not much else is wrong.
The effect isn’t a battlecry, so you could get it after you play the minion. There are tons of enchants, minions and weapons that could potentially buff this.
At worst, it’s a vanilla 2/5 which is not bad. I mean, sure, if you compare to Tar Creeper which is a 3/5 with taunt when it matters, the -1 attack hurts a lot. So the main difference is getting the lifesteal effect. Is lifesteal worth losing 1 attack and needing a condition (albeit easy one to make)? Of course, you might include this alongside Tar Creeper, but I dunno, seems good against aggro decks if you can consistently pull off the extra attack.
The hero Midrange Paladin needs. Whether or not it's enough to push a slower version of the deck into existence is up for debate. My gut instinct is probably not, but who knows! Sometimes cards are strange. Sometimes they appear out of nowhere. This could be that.
I am not sure in what deck this will be most optimal, but with premium stats, and an effect that easy to trigger is has to fit in somewhere.
Voted very good. Just a buff make it one of the best 3 cost of the game.

Love this card. So sad handbuff rotates out since this is awesome for that deck, but I'm excited to experiment with it.
do you have a good deck list?
[x] passes vanilla test
[x] had really good effect
[x] effect is pretty easy to achieve
[x] has synergy with other cards you want to play anyways
[x] curves into Kings
This will almost certainly see play.

You guys remeber that Blessing of Might still exist, right? 4 mana 5/5 with taunt and lifesteal.

Sound the bells
>>C-C-Combo!>Unstable Evolution FRENZY (Tavern Brawl)Woah, glad this isn't in Priest. Dat Nasty Lady in White value xD
But it is "very good" anyways, Aggro Pala has plenty ways to increase atk.
Buff card
Honest hearthstone: 7 mana 6/9 taunt and lifesteal (blessing of kings) this sounds so balanced...
its pretty hard to kill something with FIVE health on turn 2 or 3. Kings or Steed is pretty nutty
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
Let's face another Paladin GOD archetype in another season. Paladinception
I voted "playable" - (translation: rank 20 or Arena)
It doesn't do much on its own, which means it has to be combined with something. Buff focused paladin doesn't work consistently.
Missing taunt and lifesteal is not the reason it doesn't work. So this card solves a problem no one has.
Tar creeper and wickerflame burn bristle seems like better options.
Carpe Diem - Seize the day
card is broken af... meta defining for sure! one of the best 3drops

I don’t think it’s consistent enough for a card that isn’t broken when it has its buffs.
For a control deck, I think far creeper is more consistent. Which is what you need vs aggro
Play this turn 3 and double echo bell for a 4/9 with taunt/life steal Basically will gg most aggro decks
