Seer didnt do damage to murlocs, wich was a popular decktype at the time it came out. And it saw a decent amount of play even so, especially in arena. Also, this one is a 2/7 not a 2/7 and it outright destroys rather than damage for 2 so....
And this doesn't even damage creatures with more than 2 attack so... If you want to point out pros and cons, do it in a manner that's not completely one-sided.
Shadow Word: Horror into a body. But in WW I haven't seen any powercreep so strong to sustain Aggro decks, maybe we'll have a slower meta in the beginning so this may not see immediatly play.
It's a very tight race with this one as it's same mana cost as Tarim. Voidwalkers are easy to remove with this one, but then what? We'll see how it fares.
This is great against paladin refilling the board with call to arms, stand against the darkness or after divine favor. It kills small minions that have divine shield.
Shadow Word: Horror that is +2 mana and a minion for everyone? Mehh.... it's just like Corrupted Seer with a stronger minion. I think it's gonna be played but like "you must have it in your deck" not really,
neutral Shadow Word: Horror? I don't know, maybe ok in like some druid deck as a one-of. But if Corrupted Seer didn't see play, then this probably won't.
Except this kills anything with 2 attack. Corrupted Seer couldn't kill something with 3+ body or divine shield. This seems way better to me.

2/7 instead 2/3 is huge, seer only kill small minions, this can kill a health buffed cleric or elemental or an army of minions with divine shield paladin summoned with Call To Arms.
Shadow horror is 4 manas, is like you get a 2/7 minion for 2 manas, pretty good.
on turn 7 against aggro you are almost dead and this card wont help you anymore and if you are in front you win anyway
worst top deck against control and generaly bad against controll
bad on turn 7 with midrange because they have bigger stuff
First of all, it comes on T6. Second, in wild where dude paladin is 50% of the ladder, this is an excellent way to deal with all of their divine shields and minions. It comes out a turn after Stand Against Darkness. Pallies regularly fill the board with 2 or less attack minions so having more ways of clearing them before they can use Sunkeeper is vital. The card is definitely a meta call but it’s not some terrible piece of garbage like you make it out to be.

Corrupted seer was a Volcanic Potion + 3 mana for an additionnal 2/3 minion.
This is a shadow word horror + 2 mana for a 2/7 minion.
Is a 2/7 for 2 better than a 2/3 for 3 ? Yes, definitely. We can easily conclude that this is better than corrupted seer.
Will this see play outside of arena though ? Difficult to predict, very meta-dependant.
The only idea I got on that is that the developers are trying to push some minion-based decks in certain classes and therefore turned this pseudo-spell into a minion's battle cry...
Eadric the Pure
Disgusting with new priest synergies Lady in White
Good point

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

Hello, Spreading Plague
You're talking like Priest is the only class that needs this....
Blizzard finally found the cure for Spreading Aids.
Shadow Word: Mossy Horror

Looks like Sully from Monsters Inc. It could work as anti aggro in ramp Druid or White Lady priest decks, but not super impressed.

Am I the only one seeing the huge potential of this card?
Bye bye Doomsayer that threatens to clean your big board, bye bye Voidwalkers our of Voidlord, bye byeSilver Hand Recruits.
I mean, Stampeding Kodo is still a decent card with -1 mana and -1 stats, and it only kills one random <2 attack minion. This guy kills all!
It's not it's not useful without Pint-Size Potion, it would be simply broken with that card still in standard.
To me it's a clear choice for many control decks.
