The biggest problem of the cube lock deck are not the voidlords, are the doom guards.... 20 damage from nowhere its just unfair
So much this! Its basically the only problem i have with Cubelock. Because you cant interact with this much Burst damage from the Doomguards. I even say without Doomguard, cubelock would see no play.
Its just another OTK Deck like Patron or Raza. That uses Voidlord as a stabilize but win condition is normaly Doomguard.
MIsplaced blame here. Voidlord is a good and balanced card... on turn 9. On turn 5 or 6 and imidiately copying him... that’s the problem. General consensus is the problem is somewhere between the lackey and the sac and heal card.
hey genius, do you think that it's possible to survive till turn 9 against aggro decks? these assholes are powerful enough to deal with even an early voidlord.
If the deck continues to be oppressive, it's not the fault of Voidlord, which is a reasonable card for its cost. The problem is the whole recruit mechanic, which allows you to ignore mana costs. Mana costs exist for a reason, and ignoring that reason is extremely bad for the game.

Voidcaller is ok because have both weakness of the 2 cards, the demon have to be in hand like weapon and can be silenced like Lackey, the problem is the other two cards, remove a weapon is harder (and cost more for the deck) than silence/transform a minion and put in play from the deck is too much advantage.
Weapon and Lackey need to have the cost increased to 7 manas and Pact increased to 3 manas.
any nerf to voidlord or dark pact is a major nerf to the various control lock builds (which i enjoy playing :P and think are much less toxic/controversial than cube). i think the simplest solution is to make doomguard's charge tied to the battlecry. no burst, no problem. and cubelock would be playable as is, possibly even still tier 2. that said, i don't think doomguard needs nerfing any more than call to arms or explosive runes or drakonid OP or whatever.

Eh, I wouldn't exactly call Voidlord a good play on turn 9 for 9 mana. One silence, Psychic Scream, Kabal steal, or shaman Devolve highroll and you blew your entire turn for nothing. Minions that cost 7-10 mana that don't immediately impact the board and can be answered by something that costs less than the minion played are always risky and weak if you haven't been able to pressure the opponent enough to bait out removal.

Problem solved.
Voidlord is meant to also be an anti aggro tool. If you increase being able to bring the minion out to only turn 8 or later then you are more or less saying Voidlord isn't meant to be played against aggro (considering that by turn 8 the aggro player has usually either won or run out of steam by then. I could see a one mana increase to Dark Pact, but not nerfing lackey and pact that much.
I hate voidlord more than any other card right now. Even silencing a Voidlord hardly punishes your opponent because he brings it back with the DK again.
silence does jack shit if you can't kill it on the same turn or if you ignore it and they have cube + dark pact in hand. Besides dark pact should silence what ever it destroys.
Voirlord as a card, its really fair for its cost, the problematic cards are Skull of the Man'ari and Possessed Lackey, mana cheat is and always will be a problem in a game like HS, i would rather nerft those 2 cards instead of Voidlord
Voidlord isn't a problem; cheating him out early is the problem. Particularly, possessed lackey along with Dark Pact. Which highlights the fact that Dark Pact is really the problem card in all of warlock right now. Without that single card, the entire deck basically folds like a cheap suit.
The best thing to do to this card is make it a battle cry summon 3 1/3s with taunt. This way when you pull it with your warlock mana cheats it’s only a 3/9 taunt.

THIS IS GOATSE!
Nerf the brain of the people screaming for nerfs.
Top deck is cheat
Nerfing Voidlord makes no sense because it's not a good card. It is MADE a good card by other cards.
Nerf Skull of the Man'ari, Possessed Lackey, and Voidcaller, if anything.
