Kinda shows how OP Mysterious Challenger was. 6 mana 6/6 to put 5 Secrets into play, as opposed to 4 mana 3/4 which only puts in 2, and one of them is delayed. Even at that, this still isn't that bad. This would probably be played if a Standard Secret Paladin existed at the moment.
However, after rotation we only have 4 Paladin Secrets available in Standard (Eye for an Eye, Redemption, Repentance, Noble Sacrifice), not counting a possible fifth one to be revealed later. If it ends up not seeing play, I don't think it will be because the card isn't good enough but rather the Secret pool isn't good enough. I don't think this would get played in Wild either because Mysterious Challenger fulfills the same purpose better.
since its battlecry and deathrattle, you can get away with only running the one or two best secrets. With a lot of 'packages' rotating secrets could be a solid addition to aggro again.

What about they print a new secret thats worth it :) but i agree with you really liked the card but Secret pool for now isn't that excited.
It's Mysterious Challenger Lite! I joined the game after that card rotated into Wild, but everyone on this site who did fears it. I hope that some good Paladin Secrets get printed to maybe make this card worthwhile.
I actually think this is possibly better than Mysterious Challenger. Why? Doctor 6 needed a deck built around him (e.g. you need to run a lot of secrets), this is more like Mad Scientist, that is good in any deck even with only one or two secrets.
In my opinion, you probably need four secrets in your deck for this to be good. However, Getaway Kodo rotates, so you probably run double Redemption and double Noble Sacrifice. Hopefully another strong paladin secret is released to replace the mostly weak Redemption, but maybe that replacement will come in one of the next couple of sets.
I think this is a pretty good card, but only if you have some sort of combo deck that thins the deck out ASAP with Call to Arms now that Auctionmaster Beardo is rotating, or if we get a good Secret or another synergy card that makes this worthwhile. None of the Paladin Secrets are really worth running at the moment, and though this card helps make them better, none of them seem powerful enough to run the risk of drawing a terrible card. Ideally, you would like to be able to run six Secrets with two of these, so you can always have them pull out at least 1 Secret and be able to account for Redemption giving you an extra pull from one copy of the Sentry, but that's probably too many to consider running without some significant upside. In Wild though, this should be a good card in Exodia Paladin where you can afford to run Secrets with Beardo, and the Secrets are better overall.
You don't need to fill your deck with so many secrets like MC and if your don't have luck to draw MC your draws are terrible with cheap secrets in mid/late game, this new one thin your deck 2 turns early.
This is the kind of card warrior, rogue and shaman need so desesperately, good tempo and value at the same time and Blizzard give to a class already have one of more broken cards ever Call To Arms.
I never felt an expansion and meta so unbalanced like this one, what is good become better, what is bad become garbage. :(

Secret paladin incoming? Not as strong as Mysterious Challenger, obviously, but not every card can define an entire archetype.

I think this will be very good.
Welp
A pally secret synergy card
No more Wild for a while.
OP
I think this could fit in some midrange pally decks. Doesn't have to be a secret deck specifically, it could just pull out some good secrets.

Use Brann and Rivendare for ALMOST mysterious challenger
Voted very good, good value, decent stats , thinning out the deck, seems hella strong.

I wonder what new Secret Paladin is getting in this set?? 😃

Now we have some sort of replacement for Shielded Minibot, Muster for Battle, Loatheb and Mysterious Challenger. Apparently we're going back in time to the Secredin meta.
As for the card itself: solid body with a fair cost. Seems balanced, but is it worth it without good Secrets such as Avenge or Competitive Spirit?

For me it is better than MC.
