ill be on to play this card for shits and giggles. i mean it adds a legendary from the past to your hand, Dr. 7, Yogg, Medivh, could possibly save your ass in some cases. why not give it a chance and if not take it out.

I did not count accurately, but I believe she has a pretty decent chance to get you some 6-10 drop with ok stats to play on curve. Some also have nice synergy with the mage heropower, like Gahz'rilla and Acidmaw.

This is not a bad minion by its own. It is a bad card for ladder. It has good value, but you can't protect your face properly.
The big issue for mage is holding early aggression. Mage doesn't have early game weapons to win tempo, mage doesn't have efficient enough removal like rogue, for example. Toki is good if opponent doesn't threat your life total. Like aggro paladin might do.
Volcanic Potion was at least some way to deal with early board, but 2 damage is still not good enough to clear 3 hp murlocs of aggro paly, or totems/wolves of shaman.
And here we can see that mage spells are not overpowered, as you stated. Lightning Storm deals with opponent early board development much better, and it's not even hurt your own minions as Volcanic Potion does. Arcane missiles for 7 mana is trash, Glacial Mysteries is trash, a lot of bad spells actualy. Dragon Breath is not even good enough, it restricts your own board development and has certain requirements for deck building.
Mage not only has bad spells in terms of efficiency, it doesn't have even weapons (which is a huge disadventage compared to shaman)
The secrets are bad compared to hunter secrets. The only way they can be played is by cheating their cost with additional supportive cards.
Aoe is bad actualy nowadays. Flamestrike is good enough mostly in arena, and because its from basic set. Both Warlock and Priest has better board clear tools.
Single target removal is bad compared to rogue, and even early removal is much better in rogue. Overall, rogue spells are better than mage spells, just because they are faster and cheaper, more efficient.
The class minions doesn't have taunt like EVER (?!) The only strong aspect of mage left is grind and value. But there is no class taunt minions whatsoever to support this idea. I think it is a big design mistake.
The class is in a very bad spot and nobody wants to notice that.
With such wording...I could see them setting her up for the Classic set. Otherwise the whole "past" thing is kinda weird in HS wording. If that's the case, we could see other cards being put in Classic in the near future too.

Scroll of Wonder reads: Cast a random spell. Draw a card. Cast this when drawn.
So when drawn, Scroll of Wonder is cast. The card then casts a random spell (Ice Fishing in this case, but no murlocs in the deck, so no further draw) Then it draws a card from the top of your deck (Toki, Time-Tinker)
This is one of those "I can't believe 100% of people aren't voting bad/dust it" cards for me.
It's definitely fun, and it will be cool to see some old friends back in standard here and there but good? Too slow and too random to be good.
