I hope i don't unpack this one. I remember the Sindragosa hype, in the end it saw no play, because it's as bad as this one.
Sindragosa is one of best legendarys in this game, works very nice with DK and have dragon tag.
But, with cubelocks arounds make the value battle a lost cause the card don't see much play, if Blizzard comes to his senses and finally massively nerf warlock bullshit, many, many cards can see the play they deserve, but as long broken warlock cards still around all good, but fair, cards like Sindragosa will be unplayable.
Well, the value of the card is hugely dependent of the current meta state, no use of card being good in a vacuum. Ferrari may be a great car, but if the snow is six feet high - it's useless.
I don't liked. Sincerely. Make me doubt why blizzard has standard format... This card has no sense in standard, is just "fun" card but is not really fun at all, cause break standard rules and this is not cool. I see a lot of people that spend money in the game believing every expansion in a new content that makes you create new archetypes of decks and best logic minions or spells you could pick, but Toki Time eliminate this logical feeling and bringing back couple of cards that are "nerfed" in standard could f**** all you strategy.
Is only 1 class legendary doing this and get a random legendary.
This is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from breaking anything.
A common neutral card with discover a card from the pass can be problematic, this one don't.
And here I was getting excited thinking "from the past" meant legendaries you've already played in the match, that would have been sick! But its just another shitty rng fiesta, classic Blizzard i guess.
Don't you think that if I wanted wild cards I'd play wild? What the hell is this card? This will just confuse new players, adds a ridiculous amount of unneeded RNG. The pool is quite big too, at least we will get a good laugh when someone drops it and they get Lorewalker Cho or C'Thun. This is dust.
There are obviously bad draws such as Patches, but mostly you'll play a solid midgame minion and draw a random late-game card. This allows you to keep a somewhat low manacurve while still having some late game.
It may not be viable for high level play, but this card is not THAT weak.
If it readed "discover", even for 1 more mana or 1 less attack, it would have been very good.
Thought it was a minion you played this game when it red from the past. I really love add a random leggie mechanics but this...Meh. I mean its not like I wont enjoy it if I get it but craft it or play seriosly? Never.
Here's to always pulling Madam Goya or Mayor Noggenfogger while your opponent (assuming they decide to play with this card) always gets something ridiculous like Ragnaros, Dr. Boom or Reno Jackson.
Pack filler legendaries are such a bummer :(
From the past, Patches the Pirate. Very interesting card.

Not a single Mage synergy. Why not a neutral card?
A fun card, but a decent one.

Please, give a good legendary to my class at next.
My magic will tear you apart!
We should press Ben Brode to make it discover seriously such a waste.

Nice flavor, but I doubt that this card will play in competitive decks. Elise is very similiar, but more reliable.
If this was discover I would honestly craft it but as it is I will just lament softly when I eventually pull it from a pack.
Did anyone honestly expect Kel-Thuzad to stay dead?
I was right! It IS Chromie.
Wait, what?
Poor mage has to get used to the idea of trading minions.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
This is too RNG to be played in competitive. But if I open it from packs I won't dust it, will play for fun while doing dailies.
I hoped for a lot more powerful mage legendary tbh. Crossing fingers for 2nd one though.
No brain - no pain.
Top tier art. Trash tier card.
