Zola, Xlid, and Faceless Manipulator seem like better ways to get a copy of a minion if you are setting up some crazy combo, or desperately want a copy of a minion in hand. So that begs the question. What minion does druid want to be a 10/10 so badly that they want to include Splintergraft in their deck to do it? I don't think that question has an answer yet. Seems like a bad card overall.
Maybe it is just because it does „nothing“ the turn it is played, but a good deck might be able to play around this, e.g. by Spreading Plagueing on T7 (with a Boar on the same turn). Then you can chose between a 10/10 Taunt or a 10/10 Charge...
Each class has to be the worst some day. Shaman was until TGT, paladin was the worst in the year of the Kraken (Hunter too), Warlock was in Un'Goro, Rogue was Between KFT release and KFT nerfs, Warrior is now, so finally it's time for Druid. 5 out of 7 currently revealed Druid cards are unplayable, so R.I.P Malfurion, we won't miss you
I was scratching my head of how this could be good in standard for awhile now, it has good synergy with cards like Doppelgangster and echoing ooze in wild but i couldn't think of anything in standard, but then my friend (who doesn't play hearthstone) suggested to use it in tandom with Saronite Chain Gang which both tackles the problem of not increasing value with stats and having an instant effect on the board for 10 mana (taunt).

Oh? Didn't you know? Yogg-Saron, Hope's End never dies, not even when he's moved to wild due to his new cult member and my newest favorite card Toki, Time Tinker!
So , I guess druid mains should just quit hearthstone, right team 5 ?
Wow drama much? Druid has almost always been viable. Just because it has two legendaries that aren’t viable doesn’t mean you can’t play the class. Besides, hunter has almost never used its legendaries in its decks.
in terms of this card, just pick an understatted card to use this on like that grizzly that pulls two 4 manas. Works well in quest druid. Not great but could be a usable card.
I... think this is good? I don’t think it’s that difficult to make the 10/10 you get something worth your while. Even if you just get Taunt it doesn’t seem that far off from Sleepy Dragon which saw some play on Ramp and Recruit decks. One cool think about this is that it curves out nicely with Ancient of War which can potentially be a 10/15 Taunt with this thing ( or a 15/10 if you happen to swing that way ). You can also do some cheesy stuff if you have a Saronite Chain Gang survive a turn somehow but that seems a little less likely. You would probably also run Druid of the Claw if you’re playing this because the potential of getting an unrestricted Icehowl for just one more mana is crazy ( and yes that does work but you have to turn your original Druid if the Claw into a Cat and then copy it and then you’ll get a 10/10 charge cat added to your hand.)
Can be cute with Doppelgangster (in Wild) and Saronite Chain Gang. If they survive a turn. But then again, Saronites will be demolished immediately on turn 7 unless you're ramping heavily. Same goes for Doppelgangster. AND you nees to wait for turn 10. But 3 10/10's, wow. Anyway, the plan will be visible from miles away and will be promptly greeted with nether/equality+pyro/scream/whatever.
0 mana 10/10 with arcane tyrant

Hope my Saronite Chain Gang last a turn to I can play this on it (not that makes is a good card... ;)

Maybe another card to hand druid? Make a even bigger mountain giant, or a 10/16 twilight drake... I don't know
Kun the Forgotten King synergy
Has potential, Stonetusk Boar seems promising.
1 drops or 2 drops with insane effects with enough stats work well with this card, if not this expansion, the next one.
Can people stop complaining about legendaries? or in general? not every card needs to be meta defining.
that saronit gang though..

Can it target itself?

Arcane Tyrant for a 0 mana 10/10
Play it on on nerubian prophet and after 10 turns it will cost 0. That's the only synergy I can think of.
With shifter zerus I don't think it's gonna work.
