First of all, you need a minion on board for this to work, then u need to wait another 2 turns to summon the copy,( assuming you play it on turn 8). I would assume by the time u play the big minion, druid would have been dead cuz the class has no aoe board clear, what is T5 thinking? There is no synergy with druid class cards either. First Aviana then this,seriously this is getting ridiculous.
Target Stonetusk Boar and next turn play it and hit face. Then boar dies on their turn. On your turn double Witching Hour and win? Im not 100% sure how the interaction would work though. I don't know but if I get this card from a pack i'll see what it can do.
The only semi-viable combo I can see is with charge minions, and that's still pretty shitty. Unless of course you can stick a specific minion that costs more than 2 mana, such as Saronite Chain Gang.
I have this feeling that the Devs are still making cards as if Innervate gives 2 mana. This card would have more options if Druid could still innvervate for 2, but as is, it doesn't make any sense. If it doubled the mana cost instead of just being (10) it would be more flexible and better.
At first glance this looked terrible. Then people reminded me that Arcane Tyrant and Twig of the World Tree were things. Situational, but not as bad as it looks. Could also work in Quest Druid (I'm not the only one who plays that, right? Right? Guys? Anyone?)
Blizzard is purposely gutting druid. I don’t understand, all this does is create an endless cycle of meme tier to tier 1. 2 expansions from now they’ll be so bad because of the shit they got this expansion. Then blizzard will print 5 unstable evolution type cards and Druid will be back on top. It makes no sense
It make sense when you look at it from a different point of view. Warrior was amazing for a long time. Players crafted Shield Slam and Brawl to support their decks. Then Pirate Warrior became the way to Warrior and those cards didn't see as much play. Druid was amazing for most of the Year of the Mammoth with Jade so players probably crafted a bunch of Druid epics and maybe even Legendarys to support their decks. The earliest Jade Druids used Mulch and Ancient of War (see Kolento's list from Jan 2017) and now employ Unstable Infestation and Branching Paths. Jade's always made use of Fandral Staghelm.
Now you make Druid meme level and those epics and Legendarys aren't as useful anymore. Now you make a class which had been bad really good. Suddenly players need a bunch of Epics and Legendarys from that class, maybe even some from the Mammoth sets which don't rotate. How many Shadow Vision got crafted when SRA (himself a Legendary) was top dog? How many Dragonfire Potion for Dragon Priest, or Obsidian Statue for Big Priest.
Making a good class bad and previously bad class good can create demand for cards from previous sets. Players now want the older card packs, and have a need to spend more dust. The unstated goal is to create a need to generate more dust than the gold income only can support. Then players will turn to buying packs.
Really not sure what to make of this card right now, could maybe work in some sort of quest druid or even a wild deck with Aviana (the old Aviana, not the new one). lol

This reminds me of rafaam, where he has little impact when played but provide some value in later turns.
Interaction with cards like arcane tyrant is interesting though.
